There are two La Liga matches taking place on Monday night and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.
Heading into the weekend Real Madrid are priced at 7/10 favourites to win the La Liga Title with their great rivals Barcelona 18/10 and you can get 17/2 Atlético Madrid and 66/1 and better the balance.

Getafe v Alaves – Click here to bet
Getafe currently sit 17th on the table with 1 point from the first 6 they have played for. They were 6/1 underdogs in their opening fixture at home to Barcelona and performed credibly holding the Spanish Giants to a goalless draw. They were outsiders once again when they visited Girona and the betting proved to be spot on with Girona winning 3-0, meaning Getafe have yet to score a goal in their opening two games.
Alaves currently sit 8th on the log with 3 points from their 2 matches. They were beaten 1-0 at Cadiz in their opener and then pulled off an impressive and exciting 4-3 home win over Sevilla. They trailed 2-1 after 41 minutes, but took a 4-2 lead before conceding a consolation goal in the 97th minute.
These sides last met in the 2021/22 season, both games finishing level and the last 6 matches between these sides have finished all square.
Getafe are favourites for this game at 5/4 with Alaves Priced at 29/10, but based on those head-to-head stats and Getafe’s problems in front of goal I think the draw is the play here at 2/1
Suggested Bet: The draw at 2/1
Rayo Vallecano v Atlético Madrid – Click here to bet
Rayo Vallecano have a 100% record after two matches, both of those games were on the road. They beat Almeria 2-0 in their opener and then followed that up with a 2-0 victory over Granada last time out with goals in the 75th and 79th minute doing the job.
Atlético Madrid have taken 4 points from a possible 6 at the start of their season. They got off to a good start when they justified 1/3 favouritism with a 3-1 victory at home to Granada. They were priced at just over even money for their 2nd game away at Real Betis, but the match finished goalless.
Atlético Madrid won this fixture 2-1 last season and the reverse fixture at Atlético was drawn 1-1.
I have been impressed with Vallecano in their opening matches and am slightly tempted by the 3/1 they win, but my bet for this one is both teams to find the net, YES, at 19/20, this would have arrived in both of last season’s fixtures.
Suggested Bet: Both Teams to Score, YES, at 19/20
