There are three La Liga matches that catch the eye on Sunday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.

BARCELONA v ALAVES – Click here to bet
Barcelona are currently 3rd on the log, 4 points behind surprise leaders, Girona and 2 points behind their great rivals Real Madrid. They are coming off a 1-0 victory away at Real Sociedad last time out and the last home game was a 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid and that was the first points they had dropped at home this season.
Alaves are currently 14th on the log and they got a much needed victory last time out when they beat Almeria 1-0 at home. That broke a run of 7 matches without a victory and they have really battled on the road with just 2 draws to show for their efforts in 6 matches.
Barcelona are the 1/4 favourites for this match, but I am turning my attention to Barcelona goals as I think they will win this comfortably.

SEVILLA v BETIS – Click here to bet
Sevilla are currently 15th on the log with just 2 wins in their opening 11 games. They are coming off 4 successive draws, most recently 1-1 away at Celta de Vigo and at home they are undefeated in their last 4 with 2 draws and 2 victories.
Betis are currently 6th on the log and on an undefeated run of 7 matches, 3 of which were victories and 4 draws. They have won back-to-back home games against Mallorca and also Osasuna, but have only won 1 of their 6 away matches this season.
Sevilla have won their last 3 head-to-head matches in the league and I am backing them to make it 4 and to kickstart their season.
Suggested Bet: Sevilla win at 11/10
ATLÉTICO MADRID v VILLARREAL – Click here to bet
Atlético Madrid are currently 4th on the log, but their title challenge took a hit when they lost 2-1 at Las Palmas last time out. That broke a run of 6 successive League victories and they have a 100% home record with 5 wins in 5 starts.
Villarreal are 13th on the log and they were beaten 3-2 at home by Athletic Bilbao last time out. They have taken 8 points from a possible 15 on the road and are undefeated in their last 3 away games.
Both of these sides have played in high scoring matches this season with 9 of the 11 Atlético Madrid games reaching the 3 goal mark and over 2.5 goal backers collecting in 8 of the 12 Villarreal matches.
Atlético Madrid are the short priced favourites here at 37/100, but I am going to bet that we get goals in this one.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 13/10
