SATURDAY
BARCELONA v OSASUNA – Click here to bet
Barcelona are currently top of the log 1 point ahead of Atlético Madrid and 3 points ahead of their great rivals, Real Madrid. They have been in excellent form in the League over the past weeks, winning 6 in a row and last time out beat Real Sociedad 4-0 at home.
Osasuna sit 11th on the log and they haven’t won in their last 4 matches with 3 draws and 1 defeat. Last time out they drew 3-3 at home to Valencia and their last away game was a 1-0 defeat to Celta Vigo. They really battled on the road this season with just 1 win in 12 matches.
Head-to-Head
Osasuna stunned Barcelona 4-2 in the reverse fixture earlier this season. Barcelona edged this fixture 1-0 last season.
Betting and Verdict
Barcelona are 1.22 to win the match and they should be far too strong for this Osasuna team and I am going to back them to win by 3 goals or more.
BET: Handicap, Barcelona [-2.5] at 2.38

SUNDAY
REAL MADRID v RAYO VALLECANO – Click here to bet
As mentioned above, Real Madrid are currently sitting 3rd on the log, but they are on a wobbly run of form having only won 1 of their last 5 matches in the League. Last time out they started 1.91 favourites, but lost 2-1 away to Real Betis. Their home form has been strong though and in 12 matches they have won 10, drawn 1 and just had the single defeat.
Rayo Vallecano currently sit 7th on the log, but have slipped down the table after a run that has seen them take 1 point from the last 9 they have played for. That came last time out when they drew 1-1 at home to Sevilla. They have been a mixed bag on the road this season and suffered their 4th loss in 13 games when they went down 1-0 to Barcelona in mid-February.
Head-to-Head
A surprising stat in the head-to-head is that the last three meetings between these sides have finished level pegging.
Betting and Verdict
Real Madrid are 1.30 for the win with Vallecano priced at 9.50 and the draw at 6.00.
Given Real Madrid’s patchy form I am going to back Vallecano to hold them once again.
BET: The draw at 6.00
REAL SOCIEDAD v SEVILLA – Click here to bet
Real Sociedad are currently 9th on the table with 3 losses and 2 victories in their last 5 starts. They were hammered 4-0 away to Barcelona last time out, but their last home game was a 3-0 victory over Leganes.
Sevilla are 12th on the log, 1 point behind Real Sociedad and they have shown some improved form of late with just 1 defeat in their last 5 matches, which has seen them drawn 3 and lose 1. Their last two games have been 1-1 draws away to Rayo Vallecano and at home to Mallorca.
Head-to-Head
Real Sociedad won the reverse fixture 2-0 and last season the home team won by a goal on each occasion.
Betting and Verdict
Real Sociedad are worthy favourites here at 2.15 and I am going to bet the home team win by exactly 1 goal, which has been the margin in four of the last 5 matches between the sides.
BET: Handicap, Real Sociedad -1 goal, the draw at 3.75
