FRIDAY
ATHLETIC BILBAO v CELTA DE VIGO – Click here to bet
Athletic Bilbao are 5th on the log and they have only lost once at home in six matches this season. They beat Villarreal 3-2 on the road last time out, a game where they started 1/1 favourites. Their last home game was a 2-2 draw with Valencia, a disappointment given they went off as 6/10 favourites.
Celta de Vigo are currently 18th on the log with just 1 win in their opening 12 matches and they haven’t won in their last 8 games. They drew 1-1 at home to Sevilla last time out and their last away game was a 1-0 defeat at Girona. They have only won once in 5 attempts on the road this season and they have lost their last 3 away matches.
Bilbao won this fixture 2-1 last season, but given their opponents struggles on the road of late I am expecting a more comfortable victory this time around.

Granada are currently second from bottom of the table in 19th position with just 1 win in their opening 12 matches. They haven’t won in their last 9 games and are coming off 3 successive defeats, most recently going down 1-0 away to Valencia. Their last home game was a 3-2 defeat to Villarreal and overall on the road this season they have won 1 and drawn 2 of their 6 matches.
Getafe are currently 11th on the log with 3 wins and 3 losses in their 12 games, leaving them with a 50% draw rate. Last time out they beat Cadiz 1-0 at home and that broke a run of 5 successive draws and they have yet to win away from home this season.
I am a bit surprised to be getting 27/20 over 2.5 goals here as this bet would have arrived in 5 of the 6 Getafe away matches and in 4 of the 6 Granada home games.

Real Madrid are undefeated at home this season with 4 wins and 1 draw.
Valencia are currently 8th on the log and are undefeated in their last 4 starts. They beat Granada 1-0 at home last time out and their last away game was a creditable 2-2 draw with Athletic Bilbao. Overall on the road they have only won 1 of 6 games, but they have drawn 3 and lost 2.
Real Madrid are priced as 37/100 to win the game which is no surprise given they have won their last 5 matches against Valencia at home by more than a goal and I am going to back them to take that streak to 6.
