We take a look at three upcoming La Liga matches this weekend, offering betting suggestions for each game.
Let’s begin with a look at the Outright Betting for La Liga, where Real Madrid is as low as 1/40. The rest of the field is priced at 20/1 or better. There are additional markets, including the top 4, bottom 3, and exotic options like the top goalscorer if that’s more to your liking.

SATURDAY
VALENCIA v REAL MADRID – Click here to bet
Valencia is currently 9th on the log with 36 points, having earned seven points from a possible fifteen in their last five appearances. Their most recent match resulted in a 0-0 draw against Sevilla, causing concern as it marked their second consecutive game without finding the net, as well as three out of the last four.
Real Madrid is currently 1st on the table with 65 points. Their most recent 1-0 win against Sevilla means they have now extended their unbeaten run in La Liga to twenty, with an impressive fifteen wins and five draws in the process. It is also worth noting that Madrid has managed to obtain four clean sheets from their last six matches in all competitions.
Having already met earlier this season, the reverse fixture finished 5-1 to Madrid at home.
Considering Madrid’s run of clean sheets and the fact that Valencia have failed to score in recent appearances, this aligns well with the market I fancy in this one.
Recommended Bet: Both teams to score, No at 5/6
SUNDAY
VILLAREAL v GRANADA – Click here to bet
Villarreal is currently 13th on the table with 29 points. After securing a superb 3-1 away win over the weekend against Real Sociedad, they enter week 27 on an extended unbeaten run of six, with two wins and four draws in all competitions.
Granada is currently positioned 19th on the table with 14 points. They will be disappointed having drawn 1-1 at home against Almeria, considering the character they displayed the week prior when securing a 3-3 draw against Barcelona. Having registered three draws in their last three appearances, they will need more if they are to escape the clutches of relegation.
In the reverse fixture, Villarreal managed to secure a 3-2 victory away from home.
Both teams will be eager to avoid a loss at all costs. Given the recent trend of both sides drawing the majority of their recent games, a chance is taken by predicting the same outcome.
Suggested Bet: Full Time Result: Draw at 16/5
ATLETICO MADRID v REAL BETIS – Click here to bet
Atletico Madrid is currently 4th on the table with 52 points. Their recent league form has shown their usual consistency, with two wins, two draws, and one defeat in the last five matches. Their most recent league appearance resulted in an entertaining 2-2 draw away to Almeria. They boast a very good home record, having suffered only one defeat in twenty-one appearances in all competitions, averaging 2 goals per game in their last five at the Metropolitano Stadium.
Real Betis is currently 6th on the log with 42 points. They enter this week on the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Athletic Bilbao, extending their recent unbeaten tally to four out of five with two wins, two draws, and one loss in all competitions. Interestingly, away from home, under 2.5 goals have landed in four out of their last five outings, with two wins, two draws, and one loss in the process.
Having already met earlier this season, the reverse fixture resulted in a 0-0 stalemate.
Head-to-head stats suggest a tight affair, given that in the past seven encounters at the Metropolitano Stadium, under 2.5 goals have landed in six of their seven respective clashes, with Betis failing to register a single goal in all seven of those matches.
Recommended Bet: Totals And Both Teams To Score, Under 2.5 and No at 16/10
