Top football analyst Junior Khanye, checks out the midweek action in the PSL
Baroka v Sundowns: Win for Sundowns
Baroka have signed many players, players with raw talent but not with an understanding of top-flight football. They are playing against the champions, and although Sundowns have not been playing at their best in the last two games, the Brazilians will win convincingly.
Royal AM v Sekhukhune: Win for Royal AM
Royal AM have a lot of individual brilliance in their team, the players are happy, the chairman is supportive and financially stable. They are doing well and I see them winning this game. Sekhukune are struggling a little, their team does not have balance and they are struggling to combine.
Maritzburg v SuperSport: Draw
Mariztburg are bottom but they are at home and I’m sure they’ll be fighting not to lose. SuperSport have not been consistent and having lost one of their top players in Teboho Mokoena and Sipho Mbule clashing with management, it can throw things off. SuperSport are not playing at their best, but if not a draw, SSU could snatch victory.
Cape Town City v Chiefs: Draw
This game could end in a draw, or I see Cape Town City grabbing the points. Chiefs are still dealing with a lot of problems, the players are not adjusting to the coach’s system. Cape Town City are scoring but they are also conceding goals.
Pirates v Arrows: Win for Pirates
Orlando Pirates will win this game. Currently they have been doing well. They won their first game against AmaZulu and they also won their CAF Confederation Cup match. The spirit is high. Arrows are playing good football but in the wrong areas.
