The African qualifiers reach their decisive climax this Sunday as Nigeria and D.R. Congo face off in the qualification final for a place in the last phase of World Cup 2026 qualification. Nigeria arrive in the final in superb form, going unbeaten across their last seven qualifiers and showing a sharp blend of attacking flair and defensive control. D.R. Congo can combine defensive discipline with clinical counter-attacking play. Their 1-0 injury time semi-final win over Cameroon underlined their resilience although it ruined our 90 minute draw bet.
They previously edged Sudan 1-0, beat Togo 1-0 away, and hammered South Sudan 4-1, highlighting a consistently strong defensive structure.
