SWITZERLAND v SPAIN
These sides have been placed in Group 4 alongside Denmark and Serbia.
Switzerland’s last action was on Thursday the 5th of September where they took on Denmark in their first match in the UEFA Nations League. They were disappointing and lost 2-0. After an opening performance like that they will have to show massive improvement to have a chance against Spain.
Spain’s last match was also on Thursday and the match saw them take on Serbia, where they were comfortable favourites to win. They were given a shock by Serbia and by the end of the game, neither team had scored, and the game resulted at 0-0. They will also be under a bit of pressure after not having the start they would’ve hoped for.
Head-to-Head
These sides have played 5 times in the last 4 years, and Spain have the upper hand after winning 3 of the 5 matches, with Switzerland winning 1 and 1 match ending in a draw, the last time they met was roughly two years ago, where Switzerland won 2-1.

Switzerland – 5.00
Draw – 3.80
Spain – 1.72
Verdict
I think that Switzerland will put up a good fight, but I think Spain will be too good for them on the day and they will pick up the win. I am betting that we get 3 goals or more.

PORTUGAL v SCOTLAND
These two teams have been placed in Group 1, with Poland and Croatia.
Portugal met with Croatia on Thursday, where they had the betting odds in their favour, and they proved why after picking up a 2-1 win over their opponents. They’ve had the start they wanted and will feel confident for this game.
Scotland have had a losing start to this year’s competition and having been placed in a competitive pool they met with Poland, who they probably had the best shot at winning against. They could not get the job done and they lost 3-2 to open their campaign. This match against Portugal will be a huge test for Scotland.
Head-to-Head
These sides have only played twice since the start of the 2000s and they played 1 match in 2002 where Portugal won 2-0. Their most recent game took place 2018, where Scotland managed to score, despite Portugal overpowering them 3-1 in the end.

Portugal – 1.22
Draw – 6.50
Scotland – 14.00
Verdict
I think that Portugal will restrict Scotland and put pressure on them the entire game, not letting them score and pulling a few goals ahead by the time the match concludes.
