After failing to beat Uganda at home in the first match of the Africa Cup of Nations campaign, South Africa travel to South Sudan desperately in need of a victory. We take a look at Tuesday’s match which takes place at the Juba Stadium from a betting angle.
This is a Group K clash and the other teams in the group are Uganda and Congo, who met on Monday with Uganda winning 2-0 at home going to the top of the table.

SOUTH SUDAN vs SOUTH AFRICA
South Sudan were away to Congo in their opening match and the home team started 11/20 favourites. They went behind to a 12th minute goal and that was the last score of the match with the hosts getting the win. South Sudan have failed to win any of their last 4 matches, scoring just two goals in that time.
Bafana were the 11/2 favourites to beat Uganda at Loftus Versfeld last week and things appeared to be on track when Lyle Foster opened the scoring in the 14th minute. South Africa took that lead into the break, but shortly after half-time, Uganda hit back with two goals to take the lead and South Africa only claimed a point deep into injury time with an equaliser from Thalente Mbatha.
South Africa are undefeated in their last 5 matches with 3 draws and 2 victories and they will be hoping to tighten up on defence after conceding those two goals to Uganda.

South Sudan 11/2
The draw 12/5
South Africa 6/10
VERDICT
This is a must-win game for both sides and it is no surprise to see under 2.5 goals trading short at 4/9. South Sudan are a team that struggle to score goals and I think that South Africa will be too strong here and will justify the 6/10 favouritism.
I was quite impressed with South Africa in patches against Uganda and I think that if they can put a 90 minute performance together they will win this by more than 1 goal.
BET: Handicap, South Africa -1.5 goals at 39/20
I am also going to have a correct score bet on South Africa winning the match 2-0.
BET: Correct Score, 0:2 at 5/1
