South Africa and Namibia meet in a Group E AFCON clash at Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo on Sunday. And we take a look at the game from a betting angle.

SOUTH AFRICA
South Africa started 9/2 underdogs against Mali in their opening game and they were competitive in the first-half and had their chances to take the lead, missing a penalty as the sides went into the break goalless. The second-half was a different story though and Mali, the 8/10 favourites, got the business done via 2 goals in the 60th and 66th minutes.
NAMIBIA
The Namibians pulled off a massive shock in their opening game beating 4/10 favourites, Tunisia 1-0. Namibia could have been backed at 10/1 before the match. The sides also went into the interval without a goal being scored and Namibia grabbed a late winner through Deon Hotto to give them real hope of progressing out of the group stage.
Namibia did beat Cameroon in a qualification match at home back in March, indicating what they are capable of, although subsequent to that they had lost away to Burundi.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
South Africa and Namibia last met in a friendly International back in June with the game finishing goalless.: the last 3 matches between the sides have been drawn and you have to go back to AFCON 2019 for a result when South Africa won 1-0.
Interestingly, South Africa started odds on favourite in every meeting between the sides.

South Africa 21/20
Draw 22/10
Namibia 3/1
I am expecting a tight, low-scoring game, but so are the bookies, and under 2.5 goals is priced at under 5/10. The draw might be some value here at 22/10, but I am going to go for a correct score play. And that is the 1-1 draw currently priced at 9/2.
Suggested Bet: Correct Score, 1-1 at 9/2
There are plenty of other betting markets on offer and there will also be in-running action and live streaming. For those who want to wait and see which way the game is going before betting.
