FRANCE v BELGIUM– Click here to bet
These sides have been placed in Group A2 alongside Italy and Israel.
France kicked off their UEFA Nations League campaign with a disappointing 3-1 loss to Italy in Paris. Now sitting at the bottom of the table, it’s been a lacklustre period for the French team, whose underwhelming performance at the recent Euros seems to have carried over into the Nations League. This has sparked concerns for manager Didier Deschamps and his squad. However, tonight’s match offers a chance for redemption, though it won’t be easy, as they face a Belgian side equally eager to make amends after an underwhelming Euro 2024 performance.
Belgium began their UEFA Nations League campaign with a solid 3-1 victory over Israel last Friday, placing them 2nd in the group standings. Like France, Belgium had an underwhelming showing at the Euros, so they’ll be relieved to have started the Nations League on a positive note. Despite their recent struggles against France, the Red Devils will be hoping to take advantage of Les Bleus’ current form in the hopes of catching their opponents off guard this evening.
Head-to-Head
These sides share a rich history, having faced off as many as 76 times overall, with France edging it with 30 wins, 19 draws, and 27 defeats. Their most recent encounters, however, have shown that France has had the upper hand, winning their last three consecutive head-to-head encounters, including a 1-0 victory over Belgium that secured France a place in the quarter-finals at the European Championship held in Germany earlier this year.
Betting
France 17/20

Belgium 33/10
Prediction
I think we will see a strong response from the French this evening. That defeat to Italy at home would have hit a nerve for many. Granted, they have not performed to the standards we have become accustomed to seeing from them, but the same can be said about Belgium as well. Home-ground advantage could be the difference here, and for that reason, I will side with the hosts.
