Egypt vs Benin
Egypt topped Group B with two wins and a draw, conceding just once in three matches. Victories over Zimbabwe and South Africa, combined with a disciplined 0–0 draw against Angola, underlined their ability to manage games and deliver in key moments, with Mohamed Salah, as expected playing a decisive role.
Benin progressed as one of the better third-placed sides despite a mixed group campaign. They lost narrowly to DR Congo and Senegal but picked up a vital 1–0 win over Botswana to stay alive. While results suggest they are competitive, they now face a significant step up in class.

Egypt 1.47
Draw 4.00
Benin 8.50
Verdict
Egypt’s experience, structure, and ability to control tempo should prove decisive. Benin are organised but may struggle to create enough chances to seriously threaten.

Nigeria vs Mozambique
Nigeria were the standout performers of the group stage, finishing Group C with a 100% record, scoring eight goals across wins against Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda. Their attacking depth and physical presence have made them one of the most convincing sides in the tournament so far.
Mozambique qualified as the highest-ranked third-placed team, despite losing twice in Group F. They showed attacking intent, scoring four goals, including an impressive 3–2 win over Gabon, but defensive frailties remain a concern against elite opposition.

Nigeria 1.36
Draw 4.75
Mozambique 9.50
Verdict
Nigeria look well placed to continue their strong run. Mozambique can threaten going forward, but Nigeria’s pace and power should create too many scoring opportunities over 90 minutes.
