We have reached the semi-final stage of the African Cup of Nations and the Tournament has delivered the four sides most punters expected to see in the business end. Hosts Morocco, Senegal, Nigeria and Egypt remain, and we should be in for a pair of cracking semi-finals.

Hosts, Morocco continue to head the outright market at 2.50, with Senegal close behind at 3.25. Nigeria remain a major threat at 4.00, while Egypt, serial AFCON specialists, are still firmly in the picture at 6.50.
Senegal vs Egypt
Kick-off: 19:00
Venue: Tangier Grand Stadium, Tangier
Senegal booked their semi-final place with a controlled 1–0 win over Mali, extending their strong defensive record in the Tournament. They have conceded just twice across the group and knockout stages and continue to look physically dominant, well organised, and comfortable managing games at this level.
Egypt, meanwhile, edged past Ivory Coast 3–2 in a thrilling quarter-final, showing their trademark resilience and ability to deliver in big moments. While they have been involved in more open games than usual, Egypt’s experience, game intelligence and ability to score late goals make them extremely dangerous in knockout football.

Senegal 2.15
Draw 3.00
Egypt 4.00
Under 2.5 goals is favoured at 1.53, reflecting the likelihood of a cagey, tactical semi-final.
Verdict
This has all the hallmarks of a tight, physical contest and I think Egypt are being underestimated slightly by the bookmakers. I am betting this game heads to extra time.
Betting angles I like here include:
• Match result the Draw at 3.00
• Match Result and Under 2.5 Goals, Draw and Under at 3.40
• Correct Score Senegal 0 Egypt 0 at 7.25
BET: Match Result the Draw at 3.00
Nigeria vs Morocco
Kick-off: 22:00
Venue: Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Rabat
Nigeria have arguably been the most impressive attacking side in the tournament. They followed up their dominant group stage and round of 16 demolition of Mozambique with a commanding 2–0 win over Algeria in the quarter-finals and arrive here full of confidence. Their pace, physical presence and efficiency in front of goal have made them a constant threat.
Morocco, the hosts, continue to justify favouritism. They dispatched Cameroon 2–0 in the quarter-finals and have now conceded just once in the entire competition. Disciplined, tactically astute and backed by a passionate home crowd, Morocco start this match as narrow favourites.

Nigeria 3.50
Draw 3.15
Morocco 2.30
The Under 2.5 goals market is again shot at 1.61, suggesting another tightly contested knockout fixture.
Verdict
This should be another tight contest. Nigeria have the ability to crack open the Morocco defence but they will be reluctant to over commit on attack. My thoughts on this game are almost identical to the 1st semi-final.
Betting angles I like here include:
• The draw and Under 2.5 Goals at 3.75
• The draw at 3.15
• Correct Score Nigeria 0 Morocco 0 at 8.50
BET: The draw at 3.15
