Tanzania were one of the best placed 3rd place finishers qualifying for the Round of 16 despite finishing behind Tunisia and Nigeria in Group C. Tanzania failed to get a victory in the Group stages, going down 2-1 to Nigeria before 1-1 draws with Uganda and Tunisia.

Verdict
The betting suggests Morocco will win this comfortably and I agree, although they tend to be a workmanlike side and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a repeat of the 2-0 victories in the World Cup qualifying.

SOUTH AFRICA vs CAMEROON
South Africa finished 2nd in their group behind winners, Egypt. They opened with a 2-1 win over Angola before losing 1-0 to Egypt, conceding a penalty at the end of the first-half. Egypt were down to 14 men for the entire second-half, but South Africa failed to find the back of the net. They then played out a thriller against Zimbabwe, winning 3-2 to book their place in the Round of 16.
Cameroon finished 2nd in their group behind the Ivory Coast, losing out on a number of goals scored. They began with a 1-0 victory over Gabon before drawing 1-1 with the Ivory Coast and then beating Mozambique 2-1.

Verdict
