We look at four of the FIFA World Cup European Qualifier Finals taking place on Tuesday the 31st of March and suggest a bet in each game.
BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA vs ITALY
Bosnia & Herzegovina booked their place in the Final after an impressive 2-1 away victory over Wales after penalties in their Semi-Final which ended 1-1. It was a strong performance away from home against a side that had been in excellent scoring form and Bosnia showed good organisation while still carrying threat in attack.
They managed the game well and took their chances when they came, which ultimately proved enough to edge a competitive contest. That result will give them confidence heading into this Final as it showed they can perform under pressure in an important knockout match.
Italy reached the Final with a professional 2-0 home victory over Northern Ireland in their most recent clash. Italy controlled the majority of the match, dominated possession and created the better opportunities throughout the game.
They were patient in their build-up and eventually broke down the Northern Ireland defence before securing the result comfortably. The clean sheet will also be a positive for Italy as they showed defensive discipline while still looking dangerous going forward.

Bosnia produced an excellent Semi-Final performance to beat Wales away from home, but Italy were equally comfortable in their victory over Northern Ireland and look the stronger side overall. I am expecting them to get things done without too much trouble.

CZECH REPUBLIC vs DENMARK
Czech Republic progressed to the Final after an entertaining victory over Ireland in their latest action. It was a very open match where the Czech side showed strong attacking quality and managed to outscore their opponents in a high-tempo game that they won on penalties after the initial score was 2-2.
They created several chances and were clinical in front of goal, although conceding twice will still be a concern heading into this Final. Overall, it was an impressive attacking display and a big result in a knockout fixture.
Denmark earned their place in the Final with a dominant 4-0 victory over North Macedonia in their Semi-Final. Denmark controlled the match from start to finish and produced one of the most convincing performances of the round.
Their attacking play was sharp, and they created numerous opportunities while also remaining solid defensively. Winning by four goals in a crucial match highlights the level Denmark are currently playing at.

KOSOVO vs TURKEY
Kosovo reached the Final after a dramatic 4-3 away victory over Slovakia in their Semi-Final. It was a high-scoring and very open match where Kosovo showed great attacking intent and resilience to secure the win away from home.
They showed impressive determination to come back and score 3 goals in the second half to pick up the win.
Turkey got to the Final after a narrow 1-0 home victory over Romania in their fixture last week. It was a tight and more controlled match where Turkey remained patient and eventually found the breakthrough goal in the 53rd minute.
Defensively they were solid throughout the match and limited Romania to very few clear chances, which allowed them to manage the game once they took the lead.

Turkey have historically dominated this fixture, winning all three previous meetings between the sides with scorelines of 4-1, 2-0 and 6-1.

Verdict
Kosovo were involved in a high-scoring Semi-Final victory, while Turkey produced a more controlled performance to beat Romania. Turkey’s defensive structure and experience could give them the edge here and based on previous meetings between the sides I am picking Turkey to win.

SWEDEN vs POLAND
Sweden advanced to the Final after an impressive 3-1 away victory over Ukraine in their most recent encounter. The Swedish were very effective on the counterattack and took their chances well, scoring three important goals away from home.
It was a confident performance and a strong result considering the difficulty of playing Ukraine away from home in a knockout fixture.
Poland reached the Final following a 2-1 home victory over Albania in their Semi-Final. Poland controlled large parts of the match and created several chances, eventually doing enough to secure the win.
They looked organised defensively despite conceding in the first half and carried consistent attacking threat in the last 45 minutes of the game.

Historically Sweden have held the advantage in this fixture, winning the majority of previous meetings between the sides, although Poland claimed a 2-0 victory when they met in the 2022 World Cup.
