WOLVES vs ARSENAL
There is just one midweek English Premier League fixture taking place and it sees bottom of the table, Wolves hosting top of the table, Arsenal on Wednesday night. We take a look at the game from a betting angle.
Arsenal currently lead Manchester City by 4 points in the title race with Aston Villa a further 3 points back. They are currently trading at 1.38 to win the EPL with Manchester City at 3.17 and you can get 76.00 and better the balance.
There are plenty of other long-term markets on offer including the PFA Player of the Year where Declan Rice is trading at 1.61

WOLVES v ARSENAL
Wolves are bottom of the table with only 9 points from 26 matches and they have only tasted victory once all season. They are coming off a goalless draw away to Nottingham Forest and they have only scored 1 goal in their last 5 matches and are averaging under 1 goal per game in home games this season.
Arsenal are coming off a 1-1 draw away to Brentford and they have taken 7 points from the last 9 they have played for. Two of their three defeats have come on the road this season but they have won 3 and drawn 2 of their last 5 away matches.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Arsenal won the reverse fixture 2-1 at home at the end of 2025 and last season they did the double over Wolves and in this fixture won 1-0 and winning 2-0 at the Emirates. Arsenal have now won 9 successive matches against Wolves.

VERDICT
Wolves will have pretty much accepted the fact that they are going to get relegated and it is hard to see them standing in the way of Arsenal’s title charge. It is interesting that while Arsenal have dominated head-to-head’s, only once in the last 9 matches has the winning margin been more than 2 goals and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a workmanlike but unspectacular victory from Arsenal here.
Some betting angles I like include:
- Correct Score, Wolves 0 Arsenal 2 at 6.75
- Handicap, 3 Way, Wolves +2 the draw at 4.00 (Arsenal must win by 2 goals exactly)
- Match Result and over/under 2.5 goals, Arsenal and under at 3.50
- Match Result and Both Teams to score, Arsenal and No at 2.00
BET: Match Result and Both Teams to Score, Arsenal and No at 2.00.
