LEEDS vs NOTTINGHAM
Leeds sit 16th on the table and they have had a season full of inconsistency. Their most recent outing ended in a heavy 4-0 home defeat to Arsenal, a result that highlighted their defensive vulnerabilities and lack of attacking flair once again.
Prior to that setback they had shown some fight drawing 1-1 away to Everton and beating Fulham 1-0 at home. Leeds have managed 31 goals this season but have conceded 42, which exposes their imbalance between performance in front of goal and defence solidity.
Nottingham are 17th on the log level on points with Leeds, making this a crucial encounter for both sides. Forest arrive in better spirits after a solid run that includes a 2-0 away win at Brentford and a 2-1 victory over West Ham.
They were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace last time out but have lost only one of their last five league matches. They hold an aggregate goal difference of 24 for, with 35 against and although Nottingham are slightly more disciplined defensively than the hosts, they have not looked threatening on attack this season.
Head-to-Head
The last clash at City Ground ended 3-1 to Nottingham when they met in the league earlier this season, before this their most recent fixture was held in 2023 during a club friendly where Leeds claimed a 2-0 triumph on the road.

Verdict
This has all the makings of a tense battle with very little to separate the teams. Leeds are stronger at home but remain fragile at the back, while Nottingham have shown they can grind out results during their recent travels.
I am expecting a competitive 90 minutes with chances at both ends but Leed’s recent form suggests they can avoid defeat and edge it.
Some betting angles I am considering:
- Leeds win at 2.25
- Correct Score Leeds 1 Forest 0 at 6.25
- Result and Both Teams to Score – Leeds and No at 3.85
- Leeds win and under 2.5 goals at 5.00
BET: Result and Both Teams to Score – Leeds and No at 3.85
