Sunday features two intriguing Premier League fixtures as Brighton welcome West Ham at the Amex Stadium, followed by Fulham hosting Crystal Palace in a London derby. We take a look at both encounters and offer up a bet in each.

Brighton come into this match 7th on the table with 22 points from 14 matches, and their recent form has been encouraging. They have won three of their last five league games, including a dominant 3–0 home win over Leeds and a composed 2–0 away victory at Nottingham Forest. Their most recent outing, however, saw them edged out 4–3 by Aston Villa in a thriller on the road.
West Ham sit 18th after a difficult campaign that has seen them win just three matches so far. Defensive issues persist and they’ve conceded 28 goals in 14 outings as they’ve struggled to maintain consistency. A 1–1 draw at Old Trafford in midweek was a positive result, but it followed defeat to Liverpool at home and a 2–2 draw with Bournemouth on the road.
Head-to-Head:
Brighton have historically had the upper hand in this matchup with 7 wins, 9 draws, and West Ham producing 4 victories. Their last meeting in April saw Brighton edge a 3–2 thriller at home, while West Ham’s last win on the road came back in 2023.
Odds:
Brighton 1.57 | Draw 4.25 | West Ham 5.25
Verdict:
Brighton have been strong at home and consistently create high-quality chances. West Ham battle hard but continue to concede too easily, and Brighton’s attacking structure should see them take control of this fixture and I am backing them to win by more than a goal
Bet: Asian Handicap: Brighton -1.5 goals at 2.40
Fulham vs Crystal Palace – click here to bet
Fulham enter this clash in 15th place with 17 points from 14 matches. Their recent results have been a mixed bag, including a gritty 2–1 away win at Tottenham and a narrow 1–0 win over Sunderland. Their defence remains inconsistent, as demonstrated by their 5–4 loss to Manchester City at home on Tuesday in a wild encounter.
Crystal Palace sit 5th on 23 points and continue to impress with their disciplined structure and efficiency in front of goal. They have won three of their last five matches, including victories over Wolves and Brentford as well as a 1-0 win over Burnley in their last start. Their only recent setback came from a home defeat to Manchester United.
Head-to-Head:
Fulham hold a slight edge historically with 8 wins to Palace’s 6, along with 6 draws. More recently, however, Palace have controlled this fixture, winning 3–0 in the FA Cup last season and 2–0 on the road in February.
Odds:
Fulham 2.50 | Draw 3.25 | Crystal Palace 2.80
Verdict:
Fulham can be dangerous at home, but Palace are the more organised side and have had the better of recent encounters. Their defensive structure and counter-attacking threat make them well suited to this matchup.
