There are 2 English Premiership fixtures taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday and both games involve title contenders.
Having dropped points over the weekend, title favourites City have gone from 4/7 to 9/10 whilst Liverpool’s impressive run of form is reflected in the market price having gone from 5/2 to 37/20. Arsenal’s recent results have also not gone unnoticed, currently 7/2 on offer despite being priced up as generous as 13/2 a few weeks back. The remaining teams can be snapped up at 80/1 or better.

MANCHESTER CITY v BRENTFORD – Click here to bet
City would have been disappointed with the result this past weekend knowing that the 1-1 draw against Chelsea meant that both Liverpool and Arsenal find themselves above the Citizens. Despite showing dominance in most facets of the game, it took an 83rd minute equaliser from Rodri to settle the nerves and allow sanity to prevail. The Citizens could quite easily have snatched it late on, but despite creating chances (31 shots in total) it was the end product that ultimately led to their downfall. Credit must be given to Pochettino and his boys though, the Blues were superb in the first half and almost pulled off what many would have thought an impossible feat.
City, however are in a fortunate position knowing that they do have game in hand over log leaders, Liverpool and that a quick turnaround may just be a blessing in disguise. It allows for Guardiola and his boys to focus on the task at hand this Tuesday as opposed to reflect too much regarding what transpired this weekend. Saturday’s result meant that City’s winning streak of 12 games in all competitions has now come to an end.
MANCHESTER CITY RECENT LEAGUE FORM: D.W.W.W.W (W-Won, L-Lost, D-Drawn)
Brentford, currently 14th on the log, enter this game on the back of a pasting over the weekend going down 4-1 to Liverpool. Thomas Frank will be the first to admit that the Bees lacked the necessary sting to trouble the Reds.
There are however some positives Brentford can take from the game. Despite the result, Ivan Toney has now taken his tally to four goals from five after finding the net against Liverpool in the 75th minute. He has been a positive reinforcement since returning from suspension and will undoubtedly be the catalyst should they get anything from the Etihad this Tuesday.
The Bee’s are struggling with consistency given they cannot seem to string decent results together and this weekend’s 4-1 defeat meant that they have now only managed to obtain six points from a possible thirty in their last ten Premier League fixtures.
BRENTFORD RECENT LEAGUE FORM : L.W.L.L.W (W-Won, L-Lost, D-Drawn)
HEAD TO HEAD AWAY TO MANCHESTER CITY
Manchester City 1-2 Brentford (12.11.22)
Manchester City 2-0 Brentford (09.02.22)
It comes as no surprise that City are resounding favourites at 2/11 going into this clash given the current form of both sides. Brentford will have to be at their very best if they are to replicate the sort of heroics they managed last season. Interestingly, the man who scored a brace at the Etihad last season happens to be the current man in form for the Bees, Ivan Toney.
City can ill-afford to drop points knowing how well both Liverpool and Arsenal are currently going. There is no value in the outright prices so perhaps looking outside the box may be the right way to go in this one. I fancy both teams to get on the score sheet at a very generous 11/10 on offer, but I’m taking it one step further.
Suggested Bet: Anytime goalscorer, Ivan Toney at 28/10

LIVERPOOL v LUTON TOWN– Click here to bet
Liverpool, currently 1st were absolutely ruthless over the weekend, having dispatched Brentford 4-1 away from home, taking their tally to 57 points on the log.
That result, however, came at a heavy price as playmaker and in-form Diogo Jota had to be stretchered off with a suspected knee injury. There is also talk that Mo Salah may be out of action once again with a recurring hamstring issue despite only returning to the fold this past weekend against Brentford.
LIVERPOOL RECENT LEAGUE FORM: W.W.L.W.W (W-Won, L-Lost, D-Drawn)
Having lost 2-1 to United on Monday, Luton Town find themselves expected to recover quickly with yet another heavyweight to contend with just a few days later. Preparation could not be less ideal given the quick turnaround and poor run of form.
Currently 17th, Luton Town find themselves on the cusp of a relegation battle, just 1 point separates them from the bottom three and they will be desperate to get something this Wednesday despite how unlikely it may seem. Having registered only one win in their last seven Premier League outings, Luton face an uphill battle against a red hot Liverpool unit.
LUTON TOWN RECENT LEAGUE FORM: L.L.D.W.D (W-Won, L-Lost, D-Drawn)
HEAD TO HEAD AWAY TO LIVERPOOL
Liverpool 5-0 Luton Town FA CUP (15.01.08)
Liverpool 2-1 Luton Town (11.01.92)
It has been well over a decade since Luton last played at Anfield, and whilst there will be a degree of excitement in that, that feeling of optimism is unlikely to last.
Luton are in a horrible space at the moment and knowing they are about to face a side that hasn’t tasted defeat at home since August last year, spells disaster. Liverpool are unbeaten inf 20 games at Anfield in all competitions.
Despite all of Liverpool’s injury concerns, Jurgen Klopp will want his side to continue their dominance to sustain top spot whilst Luton will be desperate to keep their heads above water to avoid the drop. Luton have shown glimpses away from home having registered at least one goal in seven of their last eight Premier League outings but will need more than that if they are to topple the mighty Reds away from home.
Suggested Bet: Halftime/Fulltime and Total: Liverpool/Liverpool and over 2.5 at 8/10
