Manchester City v Burnley – Click here to bet
Manchester City are currently 2nd on the log, 5 points behind leaders, Liverpool, but with a game in hand.
Their last start was away to Newcastle where they won 3-2 and their last home game was a 2-0 win over Sheffield United. Overall at home this season City have won 6 and drawn 3 of their 9 matches and they have yet to taste defeat in front of their own fans.
Burnley are sitting 19th on the log with just 12 points in their opening 21 matches. They have only won 1 of their last 7 games and last time out drew 1-1 at home to Luton. Their last away game was a 3-2 defeat to Aston Villa and on the road this season Burnley have taken 8 points from a possible 30 which is 4 more points than they have been able to collect at home.
Manchester City comfortably won the reverse fixture 3-0 and they are justifiably 1/10 favourites for this clash. I am expecting Manchester City to put this game to bed early and I am backing them to lead by 2 goals or more at the break.
Suggested Bet: First-Half Handicap, Manchester City -1.5 goals at 15/10
Tottenham v Brentford – Click here to bet
Tottenham are 5th on the log and they have only lost once in their last 6 starts. They drew 2-2 away to Manchester United last time out and their last home game was a 3-1 win over Bournemouth. Tottenham have won their last 3 home games and over 2.5 goal backers would have collected profits in 9 of Tottenham’s last 10 matches.
Brentford currently sit 14th on the log and they broke a run of 5 successive defeats with a 3-2 home win over Nottingham last time out. Their last away game was a 3-1 defeat to Palace and they have lost their last 4 away games in succession.
This fixture finished 2-2 at Brentford earlier in the season and Brentford stunned Tottenham here last year 3-1.
Tottenham are 4/6 to win the game, but it is the goals markets that interests me and I am betting that we get 4 or more goals in this game, something that would have arrived in Brentford’s last 3 matches as well as Tottenham’s last 3 League games, but also have arrived in the last 3 head-to-heads between the sides.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 5/4

Liverpool v Chelsea – Click here to bet
Liverpool are at the top of the table, 5 points clear of Manchester City at the time of writing, but having played 1 game more.
They are undefeated in their last 10 matches winning their last 3, most recently beating Bournemouth 4-0 away from home. Their last home game was a 4-2 win over Newcastle and they have yet to taste defeat in front of their own fans this season.
Chelsea are 9th on the log and are on an impressive run of their own having won 3 in a row. Last time out they beat Fulham 1-0 and prior to that beat Luton 3-2 on the road. That victory at Luton broke a run of 4 successive losses away from home.
These sides played to a 1-1 draw at Chelsea earlier this season and last season both matches finished goalless and these sides have drawn their last 5 head-to-heads in the League.
Liverpool have struggled to beat Chelsea, but I think they are going to get it right at home although I don’t think it will be a runaway win, I am going to bet on them to win by exactly 1 goal.
Suggested Bet: Handicap Liverpool -1, the draw at 3-1
