There are 2 English Premier League matches taking place this Sunday the 26th, with Tottenham taking on Aston Villa, as well as Everton going head-to-head with Manchester United. We take a look at these matches from a betting angle.
TOTTENHAM v ASTON VILLA – Click here to bet
Spurs currently sit 4th on the EPL log, on 26 points, just 2 points off the leaders, Man City, with all teams having played 12 games so far.
Tottenham have won 8, drawn 2 and lost 2 of their 12 matches this season. The Spurs started on top form, not losing any of their first 10 games. However, they have struggled as of late, losing both of their last 2 matches at home to Chelsea 4-1 and their most recent match saw them lose 2-1 to the Wolves on the road.
Aston Villa sit 5th in the rankings with 25 points, leaving them just 1 point behind Tottenham, a win for Aston Villa could cause a shift in the rankings.
Aston Villa have won 8, drawn 1 and lost 3 of their 12 matches in the EPL this season, winning 2 of their last 3 games. After an unexpected 2-0 defeat to Nottingham away in round 11 of the competition, Aston Villa managed to pick up a 3-1 win over Fulham at home in their last game, giving them some confidence leading into this weekend.
Suggested Bet: Highest Scoring Half – First Half at 21/10
I believe that these sides start at a frantic pace and we will get early goals with the game potentially settling down in the 2nd half.

EVERTON v MANCHESTER UNITED – Click here to bet
Everton have had a tough start to their season, sitting in 19th on the log with only Burnley behind them and just 4 points to their name so far. They have won 4, drawn 2 and lost 6 of their 12 games, however, they have looked better in their last 3 matches, picking up 2 wins and a 1-1 draw to Brighton at home in round 11.
Everton took on Crystal Palace in their most recent game, which took place away from home, with Everton picking up a much needed 3-2 win on the day.
Manchester United are sitting in 6th place in the EPL 4 points behind Aston Villa, and after having an inconsistent start to the season, they look to be gaining back some control.
They have won 7 and lost 5 of their 12 games this season, however, their last 5 games have ended with 4 wins and only 1 loss to Man City, where the scoreline was 3-0 at full time. Manchester United took on Luton in their last game, which was away from home at Kenilworth Road stadium. They managed to win the match 1-0 with Lindelof being the only goal scorer on the night. Although Man United will be playing away from home, they enter the game as slight favourites in the betting.
Suggested Bet: Goal Range – 2-3 goals at 2.00
Man United have been taking part in some low scoring games and I can see both teams struggling to find the back of the net.
