CRYSTAL PALACE vs CHELSEA
Crystal Palace are 13th on the table and continue to struggle for momentum. They suffered a 2-1 away defeat to Sunderland in their most recent test, which followed a 0-0 home draw against Aston Villa.
They have now gone seven league matches without a win, managing just three goals in that run. They have been poor in front of goal and at the back, resulting in a -2 overall goal difference.
Chelsea sit 6th on the log and are still in the hunt for a top-four finish. The Blues picked up a solid 2-0 home win over Brentford when they met last weekend, which came after a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Fulham and a 1-1 draw to Manchester City.
Chelsea have scored 36 goals this season while conceding just 24 highlighting their overall balance, although their away form has been inconsistent.
Head-to-Head
The sides played out a goalless draw earlier this season at Stamford Bridge, while both meetings last season between the teams ended 1-1.

Crystal Palace 3.50
Draw 3.65
Chelsea 2.05
Verdict
Chelsea’s class should edge this contest, but Palace’s defensive approach at home may keep the scoreline tight. I think Chelsea will claim a narrow victory.
BET: Handicap 3 Way – Palace +1 the draw at 4.25
ARSENAL vs MANCHESTER UNITED
Arsenal sit top of the table and continue to set the pace in the title race. The Gunners were held to a 0-0 draw away at Nottingham Forest last time out, which followed another goalless stalemate at home to Liverpool. Prior to that they had won three league matches in a row, including a 3-2 victory away to Bournemouth.
With 40 goals scored and only 14 conceded, Arsenal remain the most balanced side in the division, although their last two matches have shown a slight dip in attacking output.
Manchester United are 5th on the log and have shown improved performance in recent weeks. United produced an impressive 2-0 home win over Manchester City last time they played, extending their unbeaten run to five league matches.
While goals have not been a major problem with 38 scored this season, defensive lapses have seen them concede 32 in 22 matches.
Head-to-Head
Earlier this season Arsenal claimed a narrow 1-0 away win at Old Trafford, while last season’s league clash resulted in a 1-1 draw on United soil.

Arsenal 1.57
Draw 4.25
Manchester United 5.75
Verdict
Arsenal’s consistency and defensive solidity should give them the upper hand, although United’s recent form suggests they can keep things competitive. I am expecting a low scoring encounter.
