BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION v CRYSTAL PALACE – Click here to bet
Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Crystal Palace to the Amex Stadium this Saturday for a crucial Premier League encounter. The Seagulls, currently sitting 7th with 24 points, have had a solid season so far with six wins, six draws, and three defeats. However, their recent form has been less than impressive, as they are winless in their last three league outings. A particularly frustrating 2-2 draw away to Leicester City last weekend saw Brighton squander a 2-0 lead with just 10 minutes to go, which will no doubt weigh heavily on their minds heading into this fixture. Despite their recent struggles, Brighton remain unbeaten at home, having won three and drawn four of their seven league games at the Amex, accumulating 13 points from a possible 21.
Crystal Palace are experiencing a mixed campaign, currently occupying 17th place with 13 points, just four points clear of the relegation zone. However, the Eagles have shown signs of life recently, remaining unbeaten in their last four league matches with three wins and one draw. Last weekend, they secured a spirited 2-2 draw at home to Manchester City, a result that boosted their morale and lifted their spirits. Away from home, Palace’s form has been a concern, with just one win, three draws, and three losses from their seven away games this season.
Head-to-Head
Last season, both teams secured a point apiece in the reverse encounter, ending in a 1-1 draw, before Brighton claimed a convincing 4-1 win at the Amex.
Betting
Brighton & Hove Albion 9/10
Draw 28/10
Crystal Palace 3/1
Verdict
Brighton will look to bounce back from their recent slip-ups and capitalize on their strong home form, while Palace will aim to extend their unbeaten run and create more distance between themselves and the relegation zone. At 9/10, I’m backing the hosts to repeat last season’s result, which should keep them in the hunt for Europe next season.
Suggested Bet: Full Time Result, Brighton at 9/10
MANCHESTER CITY v MANCHESTER UNITED – Click here to bet
The stage is set for one of the most anticipated matches of the Premier League season, as Manchester City take on Manchester United in a thrilling derby at the Etihad on Sunday. With both teams desperate to claim bragging rights, the stakes couldn’t be higher. City come into the match in 4th place, sitting on 27 points after an up-and-down start to the season. A hard-fought 2-2 draw away to Crystal Palace last weekend saw Pep Guardiola’s side come from behind twice, recovering after falling a goal down on both occasions. While the result was disappointing, the reigning champions will look to bounce back in Sunday’s fixture, fittingly against their neighbours, Manchester United. Having secured five wins from seven at the Etihad this season, City will enter the clash as resounding favourites, despite their recent struggles domestically, where they’ve managed just one win in their last six Premier League appearances, earning only four points from a possible 18.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are in dire need of a pick-me-up, currently sitting in 13th place with just 19 points. Last weekend’s 3-2 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest left Ruben Amorim’s side in a precarious position, with defensive frailties and a lack of coordination continuing to plague their performances. A win in this derby could provide a much-needed morale boost, but they face an uphill battle against their ‘noisy neighbours.’ On their travels, the Red Devils have secured just one win all campaign, a 3-0 victory over league strugglers Southampton earlier this season. With only 6 points accumulated from a possible 21 on the road, Manchester United will be hoping their visit to the Etihad yields something more positive, with hopes that the hosts continue to falter on the domestic front this weekend.
Head-to-Head
Last season, Manchester City secured a double over Manchester United in the league, registering a 3-0 win in the reverse encounter followed by a 3-1 victory at the Etihad.
Betting
Manchester City 4/7
Draw 15/4
Manchester United 9/2
Verdict
This is a tough one to call, considering the campaigns both teams have had so far. With both sides looking unusually vulnerable at the back this season, and the added intensity of a derby, I’m hoping it leads to a thrilling encounter between two sides eager to gain crucial momentum in the league.
Suggested Bet: Totals and Both teams to Score, Over 2.5 and Yes at 15/20

CHELSEA v BRENTFORD – Click here to bet
Chelsea face Brentford at Stamford Bridge this Sunday in a match that highlights two sides with differing fortunes and aspirations. The hosts are sitting 2nd in the league with 31 points, riding high on the back of a thrilling 4-3 comeback win away to Spurs last weekend. Under Enzo Maresca, the Blues have won their last four league games, displaying resilience and attacking firepower. However, their home form has been slightly more inconsistent than their impressive away record. Chelsea have won three, drawn three, and lost one at Stamford Bridge this season, meaning they’ll be keen to improve on their home performances if they are to extend their impressive run of form.
Brentford, currently in 9th place with 23 points, have been a Jekyll & Hyde team when it comes to home and away form. The Bees have been exceptional at home, boasting the best home record in the league, but they’ve struggled significantly on the road, holding the second-worst away record in the EPL. Brentford have failed to secure a single victory away from home, managing just one draw and suffering six defeats. Their most recent result was a 4-2 victory over Newcastle United at home, once again showcasing their attacking potential. To compete for Europe this season, they’ll need to find a way to replicate that form on the road.
Head-to-Head
Last season, Brentford remained unbeaten against the Blues, first securing a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge, followed by a 2-2 draw in the reverse encounter.
Betting
Chelsea 7/20
Draw 5/1
Brentford 7/1
Verdict
Brentford’s inability to translate their home form onto the road presents Chelsea with an opportunity for redemption after last season’s result in this fixture. The Blues have quietly gone about their business this season and will certainly fancy their chances here. However, they have kept just one clean sheet at home this season, which could make for an entertaining game, especially considering Brentford’s attacking threat up front.
Suggested Bet: Result and Both Teams To Score, Chelsea and Yes at 27/20
SOUTHAMPTON v TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR – Click here to bet
Southampton will host Tottenham Hotspur at St Mary’s this Saturday, with both teams eager to reverse their recent fortunes. For Southampton, the season has been nothing short of a nightmare. Rooted to the bottom of the table with just 5 points from 15 matches, the Saints are facing a daunting uphill battle to escape relegation. Their solitary win this season seems a distant memory, and their form offers little encouragement—just one point from their last five league outings, with four defeats highlighting their struggles. Last weekend’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa only compounded their misery, while back-to-back home defeats emphasize their vulnerability at St Mary’s, where they’ve managed a meagre 4 points from a possible 21.
Tottenham, on the other hand, come into this match under pressure to reverse their recent poor form. Consecutive league defeats, including a heart-breaking 4-3 loss to Chelsea last weekend—where they squandered a 2-0 lead—have left Spurs in 11th place with 20 points. Ange Postecoglou’s side has struggled with inconsistency, particularly away from home, securing just 7 points out of a possible 21, with two wins, one draw, and four losses. However, this weekend’s trip to Southampton offers them a crucial opportunity to get back on track, as they will undoubtedly be targeting all three points.
Head-to-Head
The last league meetings between these two sides occurred in the 2022/23 season. Spurs secured a 4-1 victory in the reverse fixture, while both teams shared the spoils in a thrilling 3-3 draw at St Mary’s.
Betting
Southampton 16/5
Draw 7/2
Tottenham Hotspur 15/20
Verdict
Southampton’s fragile defence and poor home record undoubtedly give Spurs the edge on paper. However, with Tottenham’s inconsistent away form, it’s unlikely to be a straightforward encounter. Nevertheless, at 15/20, I’m backing the visitors to secure the win. After their unfortunate result last weekend, they’ll be determined to bounce back with a stronger performance this time.
Suggested Bet: Full Time Result, Tottenham Hotspur at 15/20
