We take a look at all four fixtures taking place this Sunday in the English Premier League, offering a betting alternative for each match.
Before doing so, let’s review the current outright market odds for the Premier League title race. Liverpool are favourites to claim the title at 8/10, with Arsenal trailing closely at 33/10. Manchester City’s recent poor run of form has seen their odds shift to 7/2, while Chelsea are priced at 20/1. The remaining teams are all listed at odds of 50/1 or higher.

CHELSEA v ASTON VILLA – Click here to bet
Chelsea host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge this Sunday where they will be looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to five matches. The Blues are currently 3rd in the league standings with 22 points, their consistency reflected in a record of six wins, four draws, and just two defeats. Enzo Maresca’s side have been effective in attack, scoring 23 goals in 12 games while conceding 14. Chelsea’s most recent league outing saw them secure a hard-fought 2-1 win away to Leicester City last weekend.
Aston Villa are currently in 8th place with 19 points and have had a strong season so far, with 5 wins, 4 draws, and 3 losses. They have been impressive away from home, winning 3 of their last 6 matches on the road. Villa’s most recent league outing resulted in a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace, highlighting both their attacking strength and their occasional defensive vulnerabilities. Emery’s side will need to bounce back from this result if they are to improve their positioning on the log.
Last season, Aston Villa secured all three points with a 1-0 victory in this fixture, while both teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw in the reverse encounter.
Chelsea have failed to keep a clean sheet at home in the league so far this season, and with Aston Villa conceding 8 goals in their last three league games, this could shape up to be an entertaining encounter, with goals likely coming from both sides.
Suggested Bet: Totals and Both Teams to Score, Over 2.5 and yes at 8/10
MANCHESTER UNITED v EVERTON – Click here to bet
Manchester United host Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday, looking to build on their recent 1-1 draw at Ipswich and hoping to continue their climb up the table. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last three league games, with one win and two draws, and currently sit 12th with 16 points from four wins, four draws, and four defeats. While their defence has shown improvement in recent matches, their attacking intent has been less convincing, with just 13 goals scored in 13 games. This will be Rúben Amorim’s first home league match in charge, and he’ll be eager to make a strong statement in front of the United faithful.
Everton sit 15th in the table with 11 points after 12 games, having won two, drawn five, and lost five matches this season. While their position reflects some challenges, Sean Dyche’s side have shown considerable improvement, losing just once in their last eight Premier League appearances, with two wins and five draws in that stretch. Their defence has been more solid recently, conceding just two goals in their last six matches, including a 0-0 draw at home to Brentford last weekend. They will enter Sunday’s encounter having registered back-to-back clean sheets in the league.
Last season, Manchester United secured a double over Everton, first winning 3-0 at Goodison Park, followed by a 2-0 victory in this fixture at Old Trafford
Despite a marked improvement from Sean Dyche’s side, Everton are still struggling upfront at the moment. The Toffees have failed to score in their last two away games, and with Rúben Amorim perhaps looking to make a strong impression in his first league match at Old Trafford, I expect the hosts to be far more clinical, particularly at the back.
Suggested Bet: Both Teams To Score, No at 19/20

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v FULHAM – Click here to bet
Tottenham Hotspur welcome Fulham to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend, fresh off an impressive 4-0 win over reigning champions Manchester City at the Etihad last Saturday. Spurs put in a clinical performance, with their attacking play firing on all cylinders, a result that has given their confidence a major boost. The victory took them to 6th in the table with 19 points, having won six, drawn one, and lost five matches so far this season. They’ve also been strong at home, winning three of their last four league matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, scoring 12 goals in those games. Spurs will be looking to build on that momentum as they face Fulham in this London derby.
Fulham, meanwhile, sit 9th in the table with 18 points from 12 matches, having won five, drawn three, and lost four. They suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, which ended a three-match unbeaten run in the league that included two wins and one draw. Despite the setback, Marco Silva’s side have been involved in plenty of entertaining matches, with both teams scoring in five of their last six league outings. Fulham will need to improve their defensive solidity if they are to challenge Spurs, but their attacking threat could make for an exciting encounter having scored 17 goals overall this season.
Last season, Tottenham won 2-0 in this fixture, while Fulham responded with a 3-0 victory in this reverse encounter at Craven Cottage.
At 7/10, backing Spurs to prevail this weekend appears to be a solid option. Ange Postecoglou’s side have been in great goal-scoring form recently, while Fulham are coming off a heavy defeat. Given their current momentum, the hosts will certainly fancy their chances against the Cottagers.
Suggested Bet: Full Time Result, Tottenham Hotspur at 7/10
LIVERPOOL v MANCHESTER CITY – Click here to bet
Sunday’s encounter at Anfield promises to be a thrilling showdown as league leaders Liverpool host second-placed Manchester City in what is shaping up to be a crucial clash at the top of the Premier League table. Liverpool have been in scintillating form, winning their last six consecutive matches in all competitions, including a 2-0 victory over reigning UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid on Wednesday. On the domestic front, Arne Slot’s side secured a hard-fought 3-2 win away to Southampton last weekend. With 31 points from 10 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss, they currently hold an 8-point lead over City and will be looking to extend their advantage further.
In contrast, Manchester City come into the match with 23 points, having won 7, drawn 2, and lost 3 of their league games so far. However, their form has been far from ideal. After a humiliating 4-0 loss at home to Tottenham last weekend, City looked to bounce back in midweek, but despite being 3-0 up against Feyenoord in the Champions League, they were held to a 3-3 draw. While this result ended a five-match losing streak, the frustration remains. Pep Guardiola’s side failed to close out what should have been a morale-boosting victory, and their season continues to be plagued by inconsistency and defensive issues.
Last season, the two teams shared the spoils in both encounters, drawing 1-1 at the Etihad before another 1-1 stalemate at Anfield.
Based on current form, Liverpool should have Manchester City’s measure this Sunday. The Citizens appear to be disjointed, while the Reds simply look unstoppable. Arne Slot’s side can make a massive statement this weekend should they prevail, and at the current price of 23/20, I think that’s the way to go.
Suggested Bet: Full Time Result, Liverpool at 23/20
