There are 7 English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and we suggest a bet in each game.
NOTE: League positions quoted prior to Thursday night’s matches
Liverpool are the current English Premier League favourites at 5/4, ahead of Manchester City at 7/4 and Arsenal at 27/10.
You can click here for the latest Outright Betting and note that the prices could change depending on Liverpool’s result against Sheffield United on Thursday night.
Crystal Palace v Manchester City – Click here to bet
Palace are currently 14th on the log and they have only taken 2 points from the last 12 they have played for. Last time out they lost 1-0 away to Bournemouth.
City are 3rd on the table and have taken 11 points from the last 15 they have played for, beating Aston Villa 4-1 at home last time out.
The last 2 League meetings hosted by City have seen a total of just 1 goal and the under 2.5 goal price looks attractive.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 5/4
Aston Villa v Brentford – Click here to bet
Aston Villa are currently 4th on the log, but they are coming off a 4-1 hammering at Manchester City and have only won 1 of their last 4 matches.
Brentford are 15th on the table and on a poor run that has seen them without a win in their last 8 matches. They drew 0-0 at home to Brighton last time out.
Aston Villa won this fixture 4-0 last season and I am expecting another victory, with Brentford really struggling.
Suggested Bet: Aston Villa win at 7/10

Everton v Burnley – Click here to bet
Everton are currently 16th on the table and they have only taken 2 points in their last 5 matches. One of those came last time out, 1-1 away at Newcastle.
Burnley are 19th on the log, 7 points behind Everton and they have had 1 victory and 3 draws in their last 5 starts. They were undefeated in their last 4 starts.
Everton are 7/10, but the bet I like is both teams to score, yes, which would have arrived in 4 of the last 5 Everton games and the last 4 Burnley matches.
Suggested Bet: Both Teams to Score YES at 8/10
Fulham v Newcastle – Click here to bet
Fulham are 13th on the log and they are coming off a 3-1 loss away to Nottingham. Their last 5 games have all delivered profits for over 2.5 goal backers.
Newcastle are 8th on the log and are coming off a 1-1 home draw with Everton. Goals have also flowed in recent Newcastle matches with 20 goals in total in their previous 4 games before the Everton fixture.
Over 2.5 goals is predictably short at 11/20 and I think that Newcastle are a team on the up to grab 3 points.
Suggested Bet: Newcastle win at 7/4
Wolves v West Ham – Click here to bet
Wolves are currently 10th on the log and are coming off a 1-1 draw away to Burnley. They face 7th placed West Ham who are without a win in their last 4 games and are also coming off a draw, 1-1 at home to Tottenham.
Both teams have found the back of the net in the last 5 West Ham games, but at 8/13 that iccessive timek the home team to win this fixture for the 6th ing off a daw, 1-1 at home to time out, at home to s a bit short for me and I am going to back the home team to win this fixture for the 6th successive time.
Suggested Bet: Wolves win at 15/10
Luton Town v Bournemouth – Click here to bet
Luton are currently 18th on the log and they have only taken 2 points in their last 5 matches. Their 2-0 loss away to Arsenal broke a run of 9 successive Luton games where both teams found the back of the net.
Bournemouth are 11th on the log and in cracking form with 4 victories and a draw in their last 5 starts.
Over 2.5 goals is predictably short priced at 5/10, but there have been 12 goals in the last 2 meetings between the sides and I am happy to take over 3.5 here.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 12/10
Brighton v Arsenal – Click here to bet
Brighton are currently 9th on the table with just 1 win in their last 5 starts. Their recent home form has been solid though with 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 5 home games and they have only lost once at home this season.
Arsenal are top of the log at the time of writing and they have won 9 of their last 10 matches with the only blemish been a goalless draw away to Manchester City in their penultimate start.
The Gunners won the reverse fixture 2-0 at home and although the spoils were shared last season, Arsenal won this fixture 4-2 and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar result.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Arsenal -1.5 goals at 31/20
