This Saturday, we have five Premier League fixtures to look forward to and we suggest a bet for each one.
Manchester City remain favourites to successfully defend their title at 37/100. Second-favourites Arsenal are priced at 22/10, while out of favour Liverpool can be snapped up at 200/1.

ARSENAL v AFC BOURNEMOUTH– Click here to bet
Arsenal are currently 1st on the table and holds a slender lead over Manchester City, knowing they are just 1 point adrift and have the luxury of a game in hand over the Gunners. Arsenal has won three consecutive games in the EPL, averaging 3.33 goals in the process during that period. Off the back of a 3-2 win away to Spurs, The Gunners will host Bournemouth at the Emirates knowing that anything less than maximum points could be detrimental to their title challenge campaign. At home, they’ve performed extremely well, securing 13 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses to date.
AFC Bournemouth is currently 10th on the log and will visit the Emirates off the back of an impressive 3-0 win over Brighton at home. The Cherries have now registered back-to-back wins in the league and could aim as high as 7th place if results go their way come the end of the season. On their travels, Bournemouth recently won 1-0 against Wolves, ending their streak of consecutive losses prior to that, slightly improving their away record, with 6 wins, 3 draws, and 8 defeats.
The visitors may have found a bit of form, but this looks like a bridge too far for the Cherries. Arsenal has been ruthless in their quest for EPL glory, and they should carry that momentum at home. With three games remaining for the Gunners, a strong push to the end is expected, aiming to extend their superior goal difference.
Suggested Bet: Arsenal to win to nil, yes at 21/20
BRENTFORD v FULHAM– Click here to bet
Brentford currently occupies the 16th spot on the log and has secured their place for next season’s top-flight football. Coming off a 1-0 loss away to Everton this past weekend meant that the Bee’s recent winning streak of consecutive victories has come to an abrupt end. Having won just once in their last six games at Brentford Community Stadium, they will be hoping their sting returns this Saturday, aiming to improve their home tally of 5 wins, 6 draws, and 6 losses thus far.
Fulham currently sits 13th on the table and seems to be struggling of late. Having secured just one win from five EPL matches in April, the Cottagers will be hoping to start the month of May on a better note this Saturday. In their most recent game, Fulham drew 1-1 against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage, ending their recent streak of consecutive defeats at home. This Saturday they visit Brentford hoping to improve on the road after registering just 3 wins, 5 draws, and 9 defeats to date.
Brentford will fancy their chances after going unbeaten in four consecutive home games. Fulham have recently struggled to find their rhythm as the season continues to wind down. With nothing significant to play for, the Cottagers may find it difficult to motivate each other, potentially allowing the hosts to capitalize in their second-to-last home game of the season.
Suggested Bet: Full Time Result, Brentford at 11/10

BURNLEY v NEWCASTLE UNITED– Click here to bet
Burnley will host Newcastle United at Turf Moor this Saturday, currently occupying the 19th spot on the table. With just one point separating them from exiting the relegation zone, the Clarets will require very little motivation from Vincent Kompany, given what’s at stake. Burnley has been in decent form lately, having lost just once in their last eight EPL encounters. Their most recent game resulted in a 1-1 draw away to Manchester United. Unbeaten in their last three matches at Turf Moor, the Clarets will be hoping to extend that run this Saturday, having registered 2 wins, 4 draws, and 11 losses at home.
Newcastle United is currently 7th on the table, 7 points adrift of Spurs who currently occupy the last spot for Europe next season. The Magpies bounced back with a 5-1 demolition over Sheffield United this past weekend, keeping their European aspirations alive for the moment. Newcastle United managed to obtain 10 points from a possible 15 in the month of April and will look to target the first week of May on a winning note. Away from home, Newcastle have struggled somewhat, having registered 4 wins, 5 draws, and a disappointing 10 losses so far.
Despite being in decent form, the Clarets have been guilty of shipping goals at the back, having last kept a clean sheet back in December. Newcastle have looked less threatening on their travels and will face a team desperate for points. With so much to play for and little time remaining for both sides, a chance is taken on the both teams finding the net with one or the other coming out on top.
Suggested Bet: Double Chance and both teams to score, Burnley/Newcastle United and yes at 1/1
SHEFFIELD UNITED v NOTTINGHAM FOREST– Click here to bet
Last weekend’s 5-1 loss away to Newcastle United confirmed Sheffield United’s relegation from top-flight football. The Blades have endured a miserable campaign, conceding 97 goals in 35 appearances and securing just 3 victories this season. Saturday’s encounter could swing in either direction, considering Sheffield United have nothing to play for except pride. With their fate confirmed, we may see the hosts play with more freedom now that the pressure has been significantly lifted. The Blades will host Nottingham Forest at Bramall Lane, hoping to make amends at home, having registered just 2 wins, 4 draws, and suffered 11 defeats this season.
Despite going down 2-0 at home to Manchester City last weekend, Nottingham Forest can consider themselves rather unfortunate, having missed crucial chances that could have altered the game’s outcome. Currently 17th on the table with just one point separating them from the bottom 3, Forest’s fate still hangs in the balance, uncertain of their standing for next season. Having last won away from home in December last year, the visitors face a daunting task if they are to avoid relegation this season. They begin this Saturday with hopes of improving their away record, which currently stands at 2 wins, 4 draws, and a dire 11 defeats thus far.
It’s a difficult game to call, given that one doesn’t know what to expect from the hosts now that their fate has been sealed. With 3 goals or more playing a significant role at Bramall Lane this season, having arrived in 82.3% of their home games, and Forest guilty of conceding 2.05 goals away from home this season, I’ll take a chance on both teams finding the net with 3 goals or more delivering on the day.
Suggested Bet: Totals and Both Teams to Score, Over 2.5 and Yes at 9/10
MANCHESTER CITY v WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS– Click here to bet
Manchester City currently sits 2nd on the table, trailing Arsenal by just 1 point. However, the Citizens are in a favourable position, knowing they have a game in hand over the Gunners. With the double still very much within reach for City, they will aim to extend their current EPL winning streak to 6 this weekend. Hosting Wolves at the Etihad fresh off a 2-0 win away to Forest, City’s performance last weekend was not without its flaws. Despite securing maximum points, they appeared pedestrian at times, which could have led to a different outcome if Forest had capitalized on their chances. Nonetheless, at home, City have been ruthless, yet to taste defeat with 12 wins and 5 draws to date.
Wolverhampton Wanderers currently sit 11th on the table, relieved by their 2-1 victory over Luton Town last weekend, which ended their winless streak of 6 in the league. Despite showing promise mid-season, Wolves have appeared somewhat lethargic as we near the end of the season. With only 4 points from a possible 21 in their last 7 league appearances, it hasn’t been a particularly fruitful period for Wolves, despite already surpassing last season’s points tally. Away from home, their performance has been lacklustre, with 5 wins, 4 draws, and 8 defeats to date and will have now have to face one of the best this Saturday on their home turf.
Wolves are only one of three teams that have managed to beat Manchester City this season. Despite their achievement earlier this season, it’s unlikely they will be able to replicate it at the Etihad. The Citizens are in superb form at the moment, and the same cannot be said about Wolves. With City tightening up at the back as we enter the business end of the season, a chance is taken on City to win to nil for the third consecutive time.
Suggested Bet: Manchester City to win to nil, yes at 15/20
