TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v NEWCASTLE UNITED – Click here to bet
Tottenham Hotspur will host Newcastle United on Saturday in what promises to be an exciting encounter. Spurs are struggling as they look to recover from their earlier defeat to Liverpool, which was followed by another loss and a disappointing 2-2 draw at home against Wolves last weekend. With Newcastle United in red-hot form, Spurs will need to bring their best to match the intensity and temperament the Magpies have displayed in recent weeks. Ange Postecoglou’s side currently sits 11th in the Premier League with 24 points (W7, D3, L9). However, their home form has been inconsistent, with four wins, two draws, and four losses in their 10 matches at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (W4, D2, L4).
Newcastle United, meanwhile, have been in scintillating form in recent weeks. With an impressive 13 goals scored and none conceded in their last four Premier League encounters, Eddie Howe’s side is generating a buzz similar to that of league leaders Liverpool at the moment. The Magpies head into Sunday’s clash on a five-game winning streak across all competitions, including back-to-back clean sheet victories on the road, with their most recent result being a 2-0 win away to Manchester last Monday. Given their current run of form, it’s no surprise to see them challenging for European spots, as they sit 5th in the Premier League with 32 points from 19 matches (W9 D5 L5).
Newcastle United registered a 2-1 victory over Spurs earlier this season, while Tottenham registered a comprehensive 4-1 win in this fixture last campaign.
Given their current run, Newcastle United will head into this clash as worthy favourites, while Tottenham will be desperate to recover their form and prove they can compete for Europe. The match promises to be a tense affair, with both teams possessing the attacking firepower to produce a memorable encounter.
Suggested Bet: Double Chance and Both Teams to Score, Draw/Newcastle United and yes at 17/20
CRYSTAL PALACE v CHELSEA – Click here to bet
Crystal Palace welcome Chelsea to Selhurst Park on Saturday in a London derby, with both sides eager to put last year’s campaign behind them. Palace’s slump seems to have come to a halt, as they secured a crucial 2-1 win at home against Southampton in their most recent outing. Despite the victory, they remain in 15th place with 20 points from 19 matches (W4 D8 L7) and will be hoping to continue their recent unbeaten run of two matches. Palace’s home form has been mixed, winning just once in their last five league games at Selhurst Park, but the three points last weekend will give them confidence ahead of facing a Chelsea side that has struggled in recent weeks.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have had a decent season overall but are coming off a disappointing 2-0 defeat away to Ipswich Town last Monday. Enzo Maresca’s side sits fourth in the Premier League standings with 35 points from 19 matches (W10, D5, L4). However, recent performances suggest plenty of work is needed following back-to-back defeats. With the title race looking unlikely at this stage, the Blues will focus on securing European qualification as their next best target. Away from home, Chelsea have been solid, earning 20 points from 10 matches (W6, D2, L2) while scoring an impressive 23 goals, averaging 2.3 per game on the road.
Earlier this season, both teams obtained a point apiece in a 1-1 draw in the reverse encounter. Last season, Chelsea walked away victors in this fixture, winning 3-1 at Selhurst Park.
With both teams looking to bounce back and continue their respective runs, Saturday’s derby promises to be a thrilling encounter. Chelsea will want to prove their title credentials, while Palace will aim to build on their recent win to climb further up the table.
Suggested Bet: Double Chance, Crystal Palace at 17/20

SOUTHAMPTON v BRENTFORD – Click here to bet
Southampton will aim to bounce back from a disappointing 2-1 defeat away to Crystal Palace when they host Brentford on Saturday. The Saints remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table in 20th place with just 6 points from 19 matches (W1 D3 L15). Ivan Juric’s side has struggled to find consistency, securing just one point from their last six league outings (D1 L5). Alarmingly, Southampton have registered just one win at St Mary’s this season, obtaining just 4 points from a possible 27 at home (W1 D1 L7), highlighting their ongoing struggles.
Brentford’s impressive home record has begun to falter, with their most recent outing ending in a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Gtech Community Stadium. This marks their first consecutive home losses of the season, a worrying trend for Thomas Frank’s side. The Bees now sit 12th in the Premier League with 24 points (W7, D3, L9), reflecting a season of mixed results. Their 2-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, followed by the defeat to Arsenal, underscores the challenges Brentford face in maintaining consistency. While their home form has dipped, their struggles away from home are even more pronounced. They remain winless on the road this season, having earned just two points from a possible 27 (W0, D2, L7).
Brentford secured a 3-1 victory earlier this season in the reverse encounter, while their most recent meeting in this fixture finished 2-0 to Brentford at St Mary’s in 2023.
Southampton will need a much-improved performance if they are to capitalize on Brentford’s travel struggles. However, with the Bees determined to halt their recent slide and end their away-day drought, the Saints will face a challenging test against a team looking to rediscover form.
Suggested Bet: Totals and Both Teams to Score, Over 2.5 and Yes at 17/20
ASTON VILLA v LEICESTER CITY – Click here to bet
Aston Villa host Leicester City at Villa Park on Saturday, aiming to get back to winning ways after a mixed run of results. Unai Emery’s side, currently 9th in the Premier League with 29 points (W8 D5 L6), are fresh from a 2-2 draw at home to Brighton. That result extended Villa’s winless streak in the league to two matches (D1 L1), following a heavy 3-0 defeat against Newcastle United in their previous outing. Despite recent results, Aston Villa have turned Villa Park into a fortress, remaining unbeaten in their last six matches across all competitions (W3 D3). Their strong home form this season has been a foundation of their campaign, and they will look to leverage that once again this weekend as they aim to climb further up the table.
Leicester City, on the other hand, are in grave danger of relegation, with their survival hopes fading after a series of heavy defeats. Following last week’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City, the Foxes have now suffered four consecutive league defeats, conceding an alarming average of three goals per game during this run. This dismal form has left them languishing in 19th place with just 14 points (W3, D5, L11). Their struggles are further compounded by poor defensive performances, as Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side has repeatedly failed to hold firm in key moments. Away from home, Leicester have been particularly vulnerable, managing just one win and five points from a possible 27 (W1, D2, L6).
Aston Villa has recorded back-to-back victories over Leicester City, most recently finishing 2-1 away at King Power Stadium in the reverse encounter, followed by the same result and venue in 2023.
Aston Villa will look to capitalize on Leicester’s woes and strengthen their position in the top half of the table, while Leicester’s desperate fight for survival will add an extra layer of intensity to the match. With Villa’s solid home form and Leicester’s defensive fragility, the hosts will be the favourites heading into this crucial encounter.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Aston Villa -1.5 at 17/20
MANCHESTER CITY v WEST HAM – Click here to bet
Manchester City returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory away to Leicester City last weekend, ending a five-match winless streak in all competitions. The defending champions will be hoping this result acts as the catalyst to reignite their campaign. Currently sitting in 6th place with 31 points (W9 D4 L6), Pep Guardiola’s side has experienced some setbacks this season. With Europe now being their only realistic goal for the remainder of the campaign, City will need to dig deep in the second-half of the season. At home, City’s record has been underwhelming by their usual standards, with just 17 points from a possible 27 (W5 D2 L2). This is a figure they will be desperate to improve as they seek to claw their way back into the top four and secure European competition for next season.
On the other hand, West Ham United are coming off a disappointing 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool last weekend, ending a four-match unbeaten run. Currently in 13th place with 23 points (W6 D5 L8), the Hammers have been rather inconsistent this season. They will need to bounce back quickly, but with a particularly poor record against Manchester City, the visitors could be in for another difficult challenge this weekend. West Ham’s away form has also been underwhelming, having earned just 12 points from a possible 27 on their travels (W3 D3 L3). Given City’s recent victory and their need to build momentum, the Hammers will be under significant pressure to avoid a second consecutive defeat.
Manchester City have won their last five consecutive meetings against West Ham, most recently securing a comprehensive 3-1 victory earlier this season. Last season, the Citizens registered a 3-1 win at the Etihad Stadium.
While West Ham will certainly aim to improve their fortunes, City will look to build on their recent victory and favourable record against the Hammers. Although City are coming off a win, I’m not entirely convinced by their defensive setup. While I fancy them to secure the victory, West Ham could well manage to find the net at the Emirates.
Suggested Bet: Result and Both Teams to Score, Manchester City and Yes at 27/20
BOURNEMOUTH v EVERTON – Click here to bet
Bournemouth will host Everton at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday in a crucial encounter for both sides, as they look to secure important points for different reasons. The Cherries are in 7th place with 30 points (W8 D6 L5) and are currently unbeaten in their last seven league appearances, with four wins and three draws. Despite drawing their last two consecutive fixtures, most recently a 2-2 draw away to Fulham, Andoni Iraola’s side will look to continue their solid form with a few tweaks to ensure they can return to winning ways. At home, Bournemouth has been fairly strong, securing 15 points from 9 matches (W4 D3 L2), making Vitality Stadium a challenging venue for visiting teams. With their solid run, Bournemouth will be aiming to push for a top-half finish, continuing their impressive form under Iraola.
Everton remain just two points clear of the relegation zone in 16th place with 17 points and understand that they must drastically improve in the second-half of the season to avoid becoming embroiled in a relegation battle. Despite going unbeaten in three of their last four matches, they remain winless during this period, having recorded three draws and one defeat. That defeat came last weekend when Sean Dyche’s men succumbed to a 2-0 loss at home to Nottingham Forest, marking their seventh league defeat this season. Their concerns are even greater on the road, where they have accumulated just seven points from nine away matches (W1, D4, L4) this season. While they have gone unbeaten in three of their last five away fixtures, their overall record still leaves much to be desired. They have managed just three points from a possible 15 during that stretch, registering three draws and two defeats. This poor away form will be a significant worry as they continue their fight to stay afloat in top-flight football.
Earlier this season, Bournemouth secured a 3-2 victory in the reverse encounter at Goodison Park, while last season, the Cherries registered a 2-1 win in this fixture at the Vitality Stadium.
With both teams pursuing different objectives, Bournemouth will aim to extend their unbeaten run, while Everton will be desperate for a turnaround to steer clear of the relegation zone. The match promises to be tightly contested, but I believe the Cherries will ultimately secure all three points.
Suggested Bet: Full Time Result, Bournemouth at 15/20
BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION v ARSENAL – Click here to bet
The Seagulls will host Arsenal on Saturday at the Amex Stadium in what promises to be an exciting encounter. Brighton are currently mid-table in 10th place with 27 points (W6 D9 L4). The Seagulls enter this weekend’s game off the back of an entertaining 2-2 draw away to Aston Villa, marking their third consecutive league draw and fourth from five overall. At home, Fabian Hürzeler’s side have lost just once all season, with draws predominantly featuring, having registered five overall at the Amex Stadium this season (W3 D5 L1). They have secured 14 points from a possible 27 in their respective 9 matches at home this campaign.
However, they face a tough challenge against Arsenal, who are currently in 2nd place with 39 points (W11, D6, L2). Following their recent 3-1 win over Brentford this past Wednesday, Mikel Arteta’s men are just six points behind league leaders Liverpool. The Gunners understand that any dropped points could significantly harm their title challenge. Arsenal have been in impeccable form, remaining unbeaten in their last 12 appearances across all competitions (W9, D3). Their away record is also strong, ranking as the fourth-best in the league, with 15 points from a possible 27 this season, having recorded four wins, three draws, and two defeats overall.
Earlier this season, the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw at the Emirates, while this fixture last season saw a comprehensive 3-0 victory for Arsenal at the Amex.
Both sides will be eager to continue their strong campaigns, with Brighton aiming to climb further up the table and Arsenal seeking to close the gap at the top. This clash could prove pivotal for both teams as they battle for European spots and, in Arsenal’s case, a title challenge. While I wouldn’t discount the possibility of a draw, I expect both teams to find the back of the net, with the Gunners slightly favoured to edge out a positive result in the end.
Suggested Bet: Double Chance and Both Teams to Score, Arsenal and Yes at 1/1
