LEEDS vs ARSENAL
Leeds sit 16th on the table with 26 points from 23 matches and remain in the battle just outside the relegation zone. They have shown some resilience of late drawing 1-1 away at Everton last time out after edging Fulham 1-0 at home.
While their recent form has been fairly steady, their overall record of 31 goals scored and 38 conceded highlights ongoing defensive vulnerabilities.
Arsenal top the log with 50 points from 23 matches but have hit a slight dip in form recently. The Gunners were beaten 3-2 at home by Manchester United the last time they played, which came after consecutive goalless draws against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.
Despite those setbacks Arsenal still boast one of the league’s strongest attacks with 42 goals scored and are still looking good to lift the trophy.
Head-to-Head
Earlier this season Arsenal claimed a convincing 5-0 home win over Leeds and they have won the last five encounters between the sides.

Leeds 6.00
Draw 4.25
Arsenal 1.54
Verdict
Given Arsenal’s overwhelming quality and solid head-to-head record, this looks a tough task for Leeds. I expect the visitors to bounce back from recent upsets and claim a comfortable win.

CHELSEA vs WEST HAM
Chelsea are 5th on the table with 37 points from 23 matches and remain in the hunt for a top four finish. They come into this fixture in good form having beaten Crystal Palace 3-1 away last time out after a solid 2-0 home win over Brentford.
The Blues have scored 39 goals this season while conceding just 25, underlining their balance at both ends of the pitch.
West Ham sit 18th and are deep in relegation trouble with just 20 points from 23 matches played. They claimed a 3-1 home win over Sunderland in their latest outing after also beating Tottenham 2-1 away.
Despite those scorelines their overall goal difference of -18 indicates their inability to perform amongst the best.
Head-to-Head
The last time they clashed was earlier this season where Chelsea thrashed West Ham 5-1 away from home. Notably they have won their last four meetings in a row with West Ham’s last victory coming in 2023 where they beat Chelsea 3-1.

Chelsea 1.51
Draw 4.75
West Ham 5.75
Verdict
Chelsea’s strong recent form should see them claim all three points here. West Ham are capable of making things competitive, but I believe the hosts look too strong at Stamford Bridge and can win this without conceding.

LIVERPOOL vs NEWCASTLE
Liverpool are 6th on the table with 36 points from 23 matches and have endured a frustrating run of draws recently. The Reds were beaten 3-2 away at Bournemouth in their most recent fixture, which followed a 1-1 home draw against Burnley and a goalless stalemate with Arsenal.
While they have scored 35 goals this season, their battle to convert chances into wins has been costly and they have now gone five games without a win.
Newcastle sit 9th with 33 points from 23 matches and they have been inconsistent. They were beaten 2-0 at home by Aston Villa in their latest fixture after drawing 0-0 away at Wolves.
Despite that, the side have shown attacking creativity, scoring 32 goals so far this season although their downfall has been conceding 29 at the back.
Head-to-Head
The last time these teams met Liverpool claimed a 3-2 away win on opposition soil. Prior to that they met last season in the EFL Cup where Newcastle edged the contest 2-1 on the road.

Newcastle 4.00
Verdict
Given Liverpool’s strong home record but decline in recent performance, I expect them to edge what should be an entertaining contest.
