With the EPL winding down as we enter week 30, we take a look at six Premier League fixtures taking place this Saturday where we suggest a bet in each one.
Before we do, let’s take a look at the Outright Betting for the English Premier League. Manchester City can be backed at 12/10 to successfully defend their title, with Liverpool offered at 2/1, followed by Arsenal at 11/4. The rest are priced at 300/1 or better.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v LUTON TOWN– Click here to bet
Tottenham currently occupies 5th spot on the table, just 3 points adrift from European contention. Despite their most recent 3-0 loss to Fulham, Spurs will be bullish about their chances against arguably inferior opposition this coming weekend, having recorded ten wins, zero draws and four losses at home to date.
Luton Town is currently 17th on the table and has only managed to obtain 3 points from a possible 24 in their last 8 league games, recording just one win from eleven fixtures. Their most recent result ended in a 1-1 draw against fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest, where they required an 89th-minute equalizer to salvage a point.
Tottenham won the reverse fixture 1-0 earlier this season.
Spurs will aim to rebound from their recent loss against struggling Hatters but they must shore up defensively. Betting on Spurs to do the double over Luton looks the way to go.
Recommended Bet: Handicap, Tottenham Hotspur -1.5 at 5/8
SHEFFIELD UNITED v FULHAM– Click here to bet
Sheffield United currently occupies the last spot in the Premier League with just 14 points. Despite earning a point in their recent 2-2 draw away to Bournemouth, the Blades’ home record reflects a grim outlook, with two wins, two draws and ten losses at Bramall Lane.
Fulham, currently 12th on the table, come into this match following an impressive 3-0 win over London rivals, Spurs. However, the Cottagers have shown inconsistency this season, securing significant victories but often faltering away from home. They’ve managed two wins, four draws and eight losses away from home so far.
Fulham won the reverse fixture 3-1 earlier this season.
Despite Fulham’s poor record on the road, they take on a unit featuring an even worse performance as hosts. Having conceded 42 goals at Bramall Lane, the Cottagers will look to blunt the Blades even further.
Recommended Bet: Full Time Result, Fulham at 15/20

BOURNEMOUTH v EVERTON– Click here to bet
Bournemouth is currently 13th on the table and looks safe from relegation this season. Their recent 4-3 win over league strugglers, Luton Town, means they now enjoy a 14-point buffer over those involved in the relegation zone. Their home form this season has resulted in four wins, five draws and five losses at Vitality Stadium.
Everton occupies 16th position in the standings, just four points above the relegation zone. However, they do have a game in hand, which could prove vital in the long run. The Toffees visit Vitality Stadium on the back of a 2-0 loss against Man Utd at Old Trafford, denting their away record, which now reflects five wins, three draws and six losses on the road.
Everton won 3-0 in the reverse fixture this season, while the Cherries were victorious in this fixture last season, also with a 3-0 result.
Games between these two usually produce the goods in terms of entertainment. With the pressure off the hosts we may see a similar trend of goals that usually unfurl when these two meet up at Vitality Stadium.
Recommended Bet: Totals, Over 2.5 goals at 8/11
CHELSEA v BURNLEY– Click here to bet
Chelsea enters this week placed 11th on the table with 39 points. It has been a disappointing campaign for the Blues camp, registering six wins, three draws and four losses at Stamford Bridge. However, their most recent outing resulted in a superb 3-2 win over last season’s surprise package, Newcastle United, which will hopefully be the catalyst they needed to end this season’s campaign on a good note.
League strugglers, Burnley currently sit second from bottom with a meagre 17 points to their name. Despite winning 2-1 in their most recent home encounter against Brentford, previous weeks have seemingly significantly damaged their chances of progressing out of the dreaded relegation zone. With a paltry 9 points obtained on their travels, their away record shows two wins, three draws and nine losses.
Chelsea ran out comfortable 4-1 winners in the reverse fixture at Turf Moor.
Chelsea seem to have weathered the storm and will be keen to push on for the remainder of their campaign. The Clarets will need to be strategic in their approach if they are to secure Premier League survival, but this fixture does not appear to be one where they can expect success. A comfortable home victory seems likely here.
Recommended Bet: Handicap, Chelsea -1.5 at 5/6
NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CRYSTAL PALACE– Click here to bet
Nottingham Forest suffered a massive blow, having been docked four points due to financial fair play violations last week. This means they now find themselves embroiled in a relegation battle. They are currently 3rd from bottom with 18 points. After registering a 1-1 draw away to Luton in their match last weekend, it looks as though they will have to rely on their home record to avoid relegation. However, massive improvements will be required in that department as well, having registered four wins, three draws and seven losses at City Ground.
Crystal Palace occupies 14th position on the table and will arrive at the City Ground on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Luton. The Eagles are currently 8 points ahead of the relegation zone and will be hoping to surge even further apart to avoid possible complications as the season progresses. Away from home, Palace have been vulnerable, having registered just three wins, four draws and seven losses for their efforts.
These two teams met earlier in the reverse fixture, which ended in a 0-0 draw. Nottingham Forest secured a 1-0 win in this match last season.
Given the recent trend and nature of where these two teams are placed on the log, there is a possibility that we see yet another low scoring encounter between these two. Forest cannot afford to take too many chances leaving them vulnerable at the back and the Eagles will want to avoid a loss at all costs.
Recommended Bet: Totals And Both Teams To Score, Under 2.5 And No at 12/10
BRENTFORD v MANCHESTER UNITED– Click here to bet
Brentford will host Manchester United in the evening kick-off this coming Saturday, currently 15th on the table with 26 points. The Bees enter this encounter on the back of a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Burnley, making it five losses from six in the league. At home, the Bees have registered a meagre four wins, four draws and 6 losses to date, resulting in a negative 5-goal difference at Brentford Community Stadium.
Manchester United is currently 6th on the table with 47 points. In their most recent EPL encounter, United walked away comfortable 2-0 winners over Everton at Old Trafford. On the road, the Red Devils have been far from convincing, though, with seven wins, one draw and six losses, resulting in a negative 1-goal difference away from home.
Manchester United won the reverse fixture 2-1 this season and Brentford ran out comfortable 4-0 winners in this fixture last season.
Brentford enter this encounter in free fall, despite United’s average away record, one cannot ignore the fact that the Bees have registered just one point from a possible eighteen in their last six league games. Last season’s result between these two will seem an eternity given how this season has transpired for the hosts. A chance is taken on the Red Devils to inflict more pain at decent odds.
Recommended Bet: Full Time Result, Manchester United at 5/4
