EVERTON v WEST HAM – Click here to bet
Everton enter this fixture on the back of a hard-fought 1-1 draw away to Brighton. They received a boost as their ten-point deduction was reduced to six through a successful appeal, placing them 15th on the table. In their recent home games, they’ve only won once in the last five matches across all competitions, scoring an average of one goal per game.
West Ham got back to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over Brentford last Saturday. Currently positioned 8th on the table, they still have hopes of qualifying in Europe. However, their struggles come when playing away, having won only once and lost three times in their last five road games.
Everton won the reverse fixture 1-0 away from home this season.
I fancy a draw here given how both sides seem to be struggling to string wins together in recent times.
Recommended Bet: Full Time Result, Draw at 25/10
BRENTFORD v CHELSEA– Click here to bet
Brentford heads into Week 27 following a 4-2 defeat to West Ham, leaving them in 16th spot on the table. Their home performance is lacking, managing just one win and three losses, averaging 1.4 goals from the Bees in the last five games. Turning their form around will require a significant effort.
Chelsea has struggled in their recent league games, winning only twice and scoring an average of 1.6 goals per game in the last five matches. This places them in 11th position. Chelsea’s recent 3-2 mid-week success in the FA Cup against Leeds adds a positive spin to the current situation.
Brentford won the reverse fixture 2-0 away at Stamford Bridge.
Despite the previous result, I am leaning towards an exotic market, favouring a Chelsea win after they showed signs of improvement with a 1-1 draw away to City in the recent EPL match.
Recommended Bet: Result and Both Teams To Score, Chelsea and Yes at 26/10
NEWCASTLE UNITED v WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS – Click here to bet
Newcastle United, currently in 10th position on the log, has won only two of its last five EPL fixtures. They suffered a significant 4-1 defeat away from home against Arsenal last weekend. The Magpies’ recent home form has been disappointing despite averaging 2.4 goals, securing only one win in its last five appearances.
Wolves are in great form, sitting 9th on the table. They enter this weekend on the back of a mid-week success winning 1-0 against Brighton in the FA Cup. They boast an impressive away record, currently unbeaten in six games with four wins and two draws, averaging 2.16 goals per game in all competitions.
The reverse fixture ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Molineux Stadium.
I anticipate the upcoming game between these teams will be exciting as well, with both teams scoring and making it a high-scoring affair.
Recommended Bet: Totals and Both Teams to Score, over 2.5 and Yes at 5/6
NOTTINGHAM FOREST v LIVERPOOL – Click here to bet
Nottingham Forest is currently 17th on the log with two wins in their last five appearances in all competitions. They faced defeat, losing 4-2 away to Villa in their most recent league outing. Their home record this season reflects only two wins from their last eight, with one of them requiring penalties to secure victory.
Liverpool, currently leading the league, secured their first piece of silverware this season over the weekend. They aim to continue their winning momentum this Saturday, boasting four wins from their last five away league appearances and averaging 2.6 goals.
Liverpool has already registered a win against Forest this season, having beaten them 3-0 in the reverse fixture.
Despite Liverpool’s list of injuries, their recent cup success would have rejuvenated the team, giving them the strength required to push for further success. I expect the Reds to win and continue with their healthy away goal average.
Recommended Bet: Result and Totals, Liverpool and over 1.5 at 4/6
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v CRYSTAL PALACE – Click here to bet
Tottenham is currently in 5th place on the table. Despite a recent disappointing loss to Wolves, they have a good record at home, winning six out of their last eight games in all competitions and scoring an average of 2 goals per match.
Crystal Palace is in 13th place and is coming off a strong 3-0 win against Burnley at home. However, their performance away from home has been poor, earning just one point in their last five away games and struggling to score goals, with only three in their last five away matches in all competitions.
In their previous meeting this season, Tottenham won 2-1 at Selhurst Park.
Given Tottenham’s strong performance at home and Crystal Palace’s difficulties on the road, it appears probable that Tottenham can secure a comfortable victory.
Recommended Bet: Handicap, Tottenham Hotspur -1.5 at 5/4
