This weekend, we shift our focus to all five Premier League matchups taking place this Saturday, offering insights and betting suggestions for each game.
Before diving in, let’s review the current outright market odds for the Premier League title race. Liverpool remain favourites at 4/6, with Arsenal closely trailing at 3/1. Chelsea have overtaken Manchester City as the next best at 6/1, while City’s recent dip in form has seen their odds rise to 10/1. The remaining teams are all listed at odds of 200/1 or higher.

ARSENAL v EVERTON – Click here to bet
Arsenal host Everton at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday in an intriguing Premier League clash, with both teams seeking to gain momentum for very different reasons in their respective campaigns. The Gunners currently occupy 3rd place with 29 points, 6 points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, following a strong season that includes eight wins, five draws, and two defeats. Mikel Arteta’s men are unbeaten in their last five league appearances, with three wins and two draws, showcasing their consistency and resilience. Their most recent league appearance resulted in a 1-1 draw away to Fulham, a result that underlined their defensive solidity but also their need to be more clinical in front of goal.
Everton, meanwhile, find themselves in 15th place with 14 points, five points above the relegation zone. Sean Dyche’s side has had an up-and-down season, but their most recent outing—a commanding 4-0 victory at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers—offered a timely boost in confidence. That result highlighted Everton’s ability to capitalize on opportunities when on form, and they will hope to carry that momentum into this challenging fixture against a title-challenging Arsenal side.
Last season, Arsenal emerged victorious in both league encounters, securing a 1-0 win at Goodison Park along with their 2-1 triumph at the Emirates Stadium.
Despite Everton’s recent resurgence, the Gunners should have the upper hand at the Emirates this weekend. With Arsenal’s attacking flair, the Toffees are likely to struggle to contain the hosts in London, which is why I’m confident in backing Arsenal on the handicap this weekend.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Arsenal -1.5 at 15/20
LIVERPOOL v FULHAM – Click here to bet
Liverpool host Fulham at Anfield this Saturday in a Premier League clash as they look to solidify their commanding position at the top of the table. The Reds are first with 35 points, holding a four-point lead at the summit and a game in hand over their nearest challengers, Chelsea. On the domestic front, they are coming off a pulsating 3-3 draw away to Newcastle, a match that showcased their attacking brilliance but also left questions about their defensive structure. However, Liverpool will also bring momentum from Europe, where they sit atop the Champions League standings following a hard-fought 1-0 victory away to Girona on Tuesday. With confidence high within the Reds camp, Arne Slot’s side will be determined to keep their impressive season on track.
Fulham arrive at Anfield sitting 10th in the Premier League with 23 points. Marco Silva’s men have impressed this campaign, most recently earning a well-deserved 1-1 draw at home against Arsenal. Fulham’s ability to disrupt more fancied opponents will be tested again this weekend, but they’ll hope to carry the same spirit, that saw them push Arsenal last week, into this daunting away fixture on Saturday.
Last season, Liverpool completed a league double over Fulham, securing a 4-3 victory in this fixture before their 3-1 win at Craven Cottage.
Fulham will certainly be no pushovers, but with Liverpool back at Anfield, we should see them return to winning ways on the domestic front after last weekend’s draw away to Newcastle.
Suggested Bet: Result And Both Teams To Score, Liverpool And Yes at 16/10
WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS v IPSWICH TOWN – Click here to bet
Wolverhampton Wanderers host Ipswich Town at Molineux this Saturday in a crucial Premier League fixture, with both teams struggling at the wrong end of the table. Wolves are currently 19th with just 9 points from their opening 15 league games, and their season has been marked by inconsistency and a lack of firepower. Their most recent outing ended in a 2-1 defeat away to West Ham on Monday evening, leaving them in dire need of a positive result if they are to avoid slipping even further into the relegation zone. With just two wins in their last eight matches, Gary O’Neil’s side will be desperate to turn their fortunes around at home.
Ipswich, meanwhile, are in a similar situation, occupying 18th place with 9 points from one win, six draws, and eight defeats. They’ve been unable to string together consistent performances this season, and their recent form shows no signs of improvement. Last weekend, they suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Bournemouth, marking their third consecutive league loss. Kieran McKenna’s side will be keen to break this losing streak and pick up much needed points in order to lift them out of the relegation zone.
The last league meetings between these two sides took place in the 2017/18 Championship season, with Wolves claiming a double: a 1-0 victory in this fixture, followed by the same score line in the reverse encounter.
With both teams struggling for consistency, this could be a tense and hard-fought encounter. Wolves, however, will have a slight edge playing at home, and for that reason, I will opt for the hosts to avoid defeat in what is likely to be a low-scoring affair.
Suggested Bet: Double Chance and Total, Wolverhampton Wanderers/Draw and Under 3.5 at 9/10

NEWCASTLE UNITED v LEICESTER CITY – Click here to bet
Newcastle United and Leicester City face off this Saturday in a Premier League clash that could be pivotal for both sides as they seek to steady their campaigns. The Magpies occupy 12th place with 20 points, having delivered an evenly balanced record of five wins, five draws, and five losses. However, recent results have been frustrating for Eddie Howe’s side. A 4-2 defeat to Brentford last weekend was a setback, especially after their spirited 3-3 draw against league leaders Liverpool just days earlier. Newcastle’s inconsistency has been their biggest hurdle, but with St. James’ Park providing a formidable backdrop, Newcastle will aim to harness the home crowd’s energy and return to winning ways this coming weekend.
Leicester City, meanwhile, come into this game looking to extend their two-match unbeaten streak. The Foxes sit 16th in the standings with 14 points, just five points above the relegation zone. They have recorded three wins in the league this season but are still fighting to escape the lower reaches of the table. Last weekend’s 2-2 draw at home to Brighton showcased their resilience but also highlighted the defensive frailties that have plagued them throughout their campaign this season.
The most recent league meeting between these two sides took place in the 2022/23 campaign, where Newcastle United secured a 2-1 victory in this fixture, while the reverse encounter ended in a 0-0 draw, with both teams having to settle for a point apiece.
St. James’ Park has historically been a challenging ground for visiting sides, and Newcastle will hope to capitalize on that again this weekend. However, with the hosts managing just two clean sheets in seven home league games, and Leicester City failing to score only once on their travels this season, I think both teams to score on Saturday looks decent at 8/10.
Suggested Bet: Both Teams To Score, Yes at 8/10
NOTTINGHAM FOREST v ASTON VILLA – Click here to bet
Nottingham Forest welcome Aston Villa to the City Ground this Saturday for a tantalizing Premier League showdown between two in-form teams level on 25 points. Forest sit in 5th place, just ahead of Villa in 6th due to goal difference, and will be eager to build on their momentum from last weekend’s thrilling 3-2 victory away at Manchester United. It was a statement performance, especially after their tough 3-0 defeat to Manchester City just days earlier, highlighting the resilience Espirito Santo’s side has shown this season with seven wins, four draws, and four losses.
Aston Villa, on the other hand, arrive in Nottingham full of confidence after securing a 1-0 win over Southampton in their last league outing. Unai Emery’s men have also been excelling in Europe, with a thrilling 3-2 Champions League victory at Leipzig on Tuesday further bolstering their confidence. Villa are currently enjoying a three-match winning streak across all competitions and will be determined to carry that form going into this pivotal league clash this coming weekend.
Last season, Nottingham Forest drew first blood with a 2-0 victory in this fixture at the City Ground, followed by a 4-2 win for Aston Villa at Villa Park.
With European commitments out of the way for now, Villa can focus exclusively on domestic duties, making this encounter even more enticing. While both sides have strong cases in the outright market, making it tough to call, I’ll stick my neck out and back both teams to find the net at the current price of 7/10.
Suggested Bet: Both Teams To Score, Yes at 7/10
