THURSDAY
Crystal Palace v Brighton – click here to bet
Palace are currently 15th on the log and they are on a 6 match run without a victory. They got a point in their last start away to Manchester City where they equalised from the spot in the 95th minute with the game finishing 2-2. They have only won 1 of their 8 home matches this season and have lost their last 4 games in front of their own fans.
Brighton are 9th on the log having lost 2-0 away to Arsenal in their last match. That was the 1st game all season that Brighton have failed to score. They have taken 10 points from a possible 24 on he road and have only picked up 3 points once in their last 5 road trips.
This fixture has been draw 1-1 in the last 4 head to heads hosted by Palace and the 1-1 scoreline is trading at 5/1 for those who think it can land for a 5th straight time.
The draw is a big runner here at 5/2 but I think Brighton are showing signs of wobbling and am going to back Palace to win the match.
Suggested Bet: Palace win at 22/10

Aston Villa v Sheffield United – click here to bet
Aston Villa are 3rd on the log just 1 point behind leaders Arsenal. They beat Brentford 2-1 on the road in their last start for a 5th win in 6 starts and they are the only team in the EPL with a 100% home record having won 8/8. In those 8 matches they have only conceded 1 goal for every 5 they have scored.
Sheffield United are bottom of the log having gone down 2-0 at Chelsea in their last start. Their away record is the worst in the league with no victories and just 1 draw in 8 matches. In these 8 games they have scored only 4 goals while conceding 22.
This isn’t an easy game to find a betting angle as Villa are 1/5 favourites but I can’t see them being troubled at home and will back them to win by 3 goals or more.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Villa -2.5 goals at 29/20
