Top Goalscorer – Golden Boot
Erling Haaland (Manchester City) at 11/8
Haaland’s debut campaign in 2022/23 was nothing short of sensational, netting 36 goals in 35 Premier League games. Last season (2024/25), he scored 22 league goals, showcasing his consistent goal-scoring prowess. Manchester City’s attacking style ensures he receives plenty of chances, and with creative talents like Cole Palmer and Phil Foden orchestrating play, Haaland remains a top contender to lead the scoring charts once again.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) at 5/1
Mohamed Salah remains a perennial contender in the Premier League’s Golden Boot race. Last season, he scored an impressive 29 goals, leading the team’s offensive output by a clear margin. With Liverpool focused on defending their title and Salah showing no signs of slowing down despite his age, his clinical finishing and ability to perform in key moments make him one of the better options in the Golden Boot market.
Alexander Isak (Newcastle United) at 6/1
If he stays in the Premier League this season, Alexander Isak has to be considered a strong contender for the Golden Boot. The Newcastle forward notched an impressive 23 league goals last season, outscoring even Erling Haaland on the domestic front. However, with ongoing off-field distractions and rumours linking him to a move to Liverpool, much depends on whether Eddie Howe continues to trust him as a key starter. Regardless, if Isak remains at Newcastle, his goal-scoring form makes him impossible to overlook in the top scorer conversation.
Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool) not yet priced
Liverpool’s new signing Hugo Ekitike made a dream start to life at Anfield, scoring with his very first touch just four minutes into the FA Community Shield. His seamless integration into the side was striking — he played as though he’d been part of Arne Slot’s setup for years. With Liverpool seemingly channelling more attacking opportunities through the Frenchman rather than spreading the workload across multiple forwards, Ekitike could quickly become the focal point of their title defence. If he maintains the confidence and sharpness displayed in his debut outing, his name deserves serious consideration in the top goalscorer market.
Viktor Gyökeres (Arsenal) at 13/2
Players often make the transition from the Portuguese league to the Premier League with relative ease, and Gyökeres looks like he could follow that path. Arsenal’s attacking style traditionally shares goal-scoring responsibilities, but Gyökeres offers something exciting and potentially different. He could well establish himself as a key goalscorer for both club and league, making him an intriguing option at 13/2.
Most Assists
Florian Wirtz (Liverpool) at 7/2
Wirtz arrives at Liverpool with a hefty £116 million price tag from Bayer Leverkusen. Known for his exceptional creativity and technical ability, he registered 12 assists in the Bundesliga last season — and wasted no time making an impression in England, setting up a goal just four minutes into the Community Shield. While there’s always some risk in backing a debutant to shine in the Premier League, Wirtz’s reputation suggests he could be one of the league’s most productive playmakers in his first campaign.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) at 3/1
Salah tallied an impressive 18 assists in the league last season, six more than his nearest competitor. Despite being in the later stages of his career, he continues to be a creative powerhouse for Liverpool. With the squad bolstered by new signings, some of his goal-scoring responsibilities might shift, but Salah’s vision, pace, and playmaking abilities mean he remains a top contender to lead the assist charts again.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) at 7/1
Bruno Fernandes secured 10 assists for Manchester United last season, but that tally could dramatically improve this term. With exciting new attacking options in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Šeško, the Portuguese playmaker will have more targets to aim for and more movement ahead of him. His vision, set-piece threat, and ability to unlock deep defences make him a prime candidate for the assists crown.
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) at 3/1
Saka registered 10 assists in the Premier League last season, reaffirming his status as one of Arsenal’s most influential creative outlets. Combining pace, vision, and technical precision, he regularly unlocks defences and fashions high-quality chances for teammates. With Arsenal’s attack looking sharper than ever, the 23-year-old winger will be expected to once again feature prominently among the league’s top assist providers.
Top Goalkeeper – Golden Glove
David Raya (Arsenal) at 5/4
David Raya remains a firm favourite in the Golden Glove race after sharing last season’s award with Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels, each keeping 13 clean sheets. With Arsenal’s defence continuing to tighten under Mikel Arteta, Raya looks well placed to make the Golden Glove his own this season.
Robert Sanchez (Chelsea) at 12/1
Chelsea’s goalkeeper was instrumental last season, notching up 10 clean sheets as the Blues built a solid defensive foundation. With Chelsea pushing for the title under Enzo Maresca, Sanchez’s consistency and shot-stopping skills will be key to their hopes, making him a strong contender for the Golden Glove.
Alisson Becker (Liverpool) at 5/2
Alisson remains a crucial figure between the sticks for Liverpool. Despite registering 9 clean sheets last season, his shot-stopping ability, composure, and leadership at the back continue to make him a top contender for the Golden Glove. With Liverpool’s ambition to defend their title and a solid defensive line ahead of him, Alisson looks well placed to improve his clean sheet tally this term.
Jordan Pickford (Everton) at 40/1
Everton looked a transformed side following Sean Dyche’s departure and David Moyes’ arrival. Pickford’s impressive 12 clean sheets last season demonstrate his importance to their defensive resilience. Should Everton continue that defensive solidity, Pickford could be a dark horse for the Golden Glove.
PFA Player of the Year
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) at 8/1
Cole Palmer was one of the standouts during the FIFA Club World Cup over the summer, further cementing his rapid rise in English football. The Chelsea midfielder’s flair, composure, and ability to deliver in high-pressure moments have already made him a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge. If Chelsea’s young squad continues to develop under Enzo Maresca and Palmer maintains his current trajectory, he could be excellent value for the PFA Player of the Year award this season.
Phil Foden (Manchester City) at 8/1
Phil Foden enjoyed a strong Premier League season last term, stepping up admirably during Kevin De Bruyne’s absence with consistent match-winning displays. Now entering his prime, Foden’s versatility and goal threat make him one of the league’s most complete attacking midfielders and a serious contender for the PFA Player of the Year if City mount a strong challenge across all competitions.
Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool) at 12/1
Van Dijk remains the anchor of Liverpool’s defence, and his leadership was instrumental in last season’s title triumph. With Liverpool also looking dangerous in Europe, a dominant season at the back could put him in the rare category of defenders winning the PFA award.
Now for something a little different!
Premier League 2025/26 – Total Points – Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest – Under 47 Points
Nottingham Forest secured European qualification following an impressive league run last season. But let’s not forget that just the previous season, they narrowly avoided relegation, finishing 17th. Balancing the demands of European football alongside the Premier League is a tough challenge, and several clubs—like Manchester United (15th) and Spurs (17th) last season—struggled with it. Given these factors, I’m not convinced Forest can maintain their form on the domestic front this campaign.
Current Odds: 12/10
Premier League 2025/26 – Total Points – Brentford
Brentford – Under 41 Points
With Thomas Frank’s departure, Brentford face a significant transition. His tactical nous and ability to get the best out of the squad were key to their recent Premier League stability. Adding to their challenges, the Bees lost the services of Bryan Mbeumo over the summer after his move to Manchester United, a major blow to their attacking threat. Without him, and with a new manager needing time to implement ideas, Brentford could struggle to maintain their previous form. Backing them to finish the season under 41 points could prove to be profitable, especially given the increased competition and possible adjustment period under new management.
Current Odds: 12/10
