The URC enters its final week of the group stages and we take a look at the two South African derbies that will take place this weekend from a betting angle.
Leinster remain favourites to win the competition and are trading at 1.57. The Blue Bulls are second favourites, trading at 6.00 followed by Munster at 6.50.

Stormers v Lions – Click here to bet
The Stormers are sitting 5th on the table after winning 11 of their 17 matches this season. They are hoping that either Leinster or the Glasgow Warriors drop points this weekend, which would allow them to secure a home quarter final. The Stormers have won their last 3 matches, with their most recent win being a 16-12 victory against Connacht away from home.
The Lions are sitting 9th on the table and need a win against the Stormers to qualify for the quarter-finals. They have won 9 of their 17 matches so far, with their most recent result being a 44-21 win against the Glasgow Warriors at home last weekend.
The Stormers won the last match between the two sides. They faced off in Johannesburg, where the match ended 35-33.
The Stormers are favourites to win the match and are trading at 1.40, while the Lions are trading at 3.50. The handicap at the time of writing is Stormers [-6.5] at 1.91. I believe the Stormers recent run of form, along with the support of their home crowd, will give them the advantage to win the match this weekend.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Stormers [-6.5] at 1.91.

Sharks v Bulls – Click here to bet
The Sharks remain at the bottom end of the table in 13th position after winning only 4 of their 17 matches this season. They recently won the EPCR Challenge Cup, defeating Gloucester 36-22. However, their most recent URC result was a 14-36 loss to Cardiff at home.
The Bulls are sitting 2nd on the table, only 2 points behind Munster. They will be looking to secure as many points as possible to maximize their chances of hosting a home final. The Bulls have won 12 of their 17 matches this season and are on a four-match winning streak in the URC, with their most recent result being a 56-35 victory against Benetton at home.
In their last meeting, where the Bulls hosted the Sharks, the Bulls emerged victorious with a 44-10 win.
The Bulls are favourites to win and are trading at 1.10, while the Sharks are trading at 8.50. The handicap at the time of writing is Bulls [-15.5] at 1.95. The Sharks have struggled in the URC all season and will most likely not field their strongest team after last weekend’s win. The Bulls are looking to build momentum going into the quarter-finals, and I believe they will be too strong for the Sharks.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Bulls [-15.5] at 1.95.
