HURRICANES vs CRUSADERS – Click here to bet
The Hurricanes are 7th on the log on 15 points overall with 3 wins and 4 losses. They are tied on points with Moana Pasifika, who are 8th on the log, but separated by their points difference.
They took on the Blues away from home last Saturday where the match was tightly contested and after a nail-biting 80 minutes, they lost the game by a single point with the scoreboard showing 19-18.
The Crusaders remain on solid form and have held onto 2nd spot on the log winning 5 and losing just 2 of their 7 fixtures. They are 2 points behind the Chiefs, who are in 1st, and they are currently on 24 points after picking up 4 bonus points across their matches.
The Crusaders met with the Fijian Drua in round 8 of the competition and although the Drua came at them hard, they kept them out and pulled off a 31-14 win away from home.
Head-to-Head
In their last 5 head-to-head games, the Crusaders have won 3 while the Canes have won 2. Their last encounter took place in February where the Crusaders picked up a 33-25 win at home.
Betting and Verdict
Handicap: Hurricanes [-2.5]
The Hurricanes are priced at 1.75 with the Crusaders at 2.20 and the draw 29.00.
Money has come for the Hurricanes and I expect a close game with neither team winning by more than 6 points.

WARATAHS vs CHIEFS – Click here to bet
The Waratahs have had a decent campaign but struggled to execute at times. After winning 4 and losing 3 of their games they are in 6th on the table with a points difference of -47.
They suffered a 45-28 loss to Moana Pasifika a week ago despite being favourites to take the win on the road.
The Chiefs have continued on their near flawless run, winning 6 of their 7 games and this leaves them in 1st overall with a points difference of +75 and 26 total points on the log.
They put up a dominant performance last Friday to hold out a strong Reds side and in the end they claimed a 12-point victory at home, the final score was 27-15.
Head-to-Head
The Chiefs have been superb against the Waratahs in recent years, winning all 5 of the games since 2021. The last time they met was a year ago when the Chiefs beat them 38-22 on the road.
Handicap: Waratahs [+12.5]
Betting and Verdict
The Waratahs are 4.50 with the draw at 34.00 and the Crusaders are favourites at 1.25.
The total points line is 59.5 and I think we will see plenty of action in this game. I am going to boost the overs price by taking the Chiefs to win and 60 points or more to be scored in the game.
BET: Result and Totals: Chiefs and over 59.5 at 2.15
