FRIDAY
HURRICANES vs WARATAHS – Click here to bet
The Hurricanes are in 8th on the log after narrowly ending up on the wrong side of the result a couple of times. They have played 5 matches, winning 2 and losing 3 so far which leaves them on 9 points.
They had a bye last weekend and prior to that they met with the Highlanders and clinched a 2 point victory away from home in round 5.
The Waratahs are currently in 4th after winning 4 and losing 1 of their 5 clashes. They possess a points difference of +15.
They put in a huge shift in front of their supporters a week ago to beat the Brumbies 28-23 and bouncing back from a 20 point loss away to the Reds the week before.
Head-to-Head
The last 5 head-to-head encounters between these sides have been won by the Hurricanes with the most recent in 2024 ending 41-12 for the Canes at home.
Betting and Verdict
Hurricanes are favourites at 1.30 with the Waratahs at 4.00 and the draw 31.00
Handicap: Hurricanes [-9.5]
The Hurricanes have not really fired this season but I am expecting that to change and will back them to win by 10 points or more.
BET: Hurricanes -9.5 at 1.90
BRUMBIES vs HIGHLANDERS – Click here to bet
The Brumbies have fallen back into 5th place on the table after their 5-point loss to the Waratahs in round 6.
They stand on a points difference of -1 after winning 3 and losing 3 of their matches.
The Highlanders have battled to find consistency in their 2025 campaign and after winning 2 and losing 3 of their opening matches, they are in 7th position with 11 points overall.
They fell short to the Reds at home last weekend in an encounter that ended 23-29 to the visitors, a game where the Highlanders started 4 point favourites.
Head-to-Head
The Brumbies hold the advantage across their last 5 meetings, winning 4 of the games with the Highlanders winning only 1. They clashed last season in June where the Brumbies won 32-16 on home turf.
Betting and Verdict
Brumbies are priced at 1.33 with Highlanders at 3.90 and the draw 29.00.
Handicap: Brumbies [-9.5 ]
The Highlanders have not impressed me this season and the Brumbies at home should be too strong.
BET: Brumbies -9.5 at 1.95

SATURDAY
CRUSADERS vs MOANA PASIFIKA – Click here to bet
The Crusaders are well positioned in 2nd overall after 5 matches of play. They have won 4 of these meetings and lost just 1. They are level on 19 points with the Reds with their +52-point difference separating the two sides.
Last weekend featured a dominant win for the Crusaders when they took on the Blues away from home beating them 42-19.
Moana Pasifika have struggled to maintain any winning form in the early stages of the season and after losing 4 and winning 1 of their fixtures they are in 11th with just 6 points to their name.
They fought back hard against a well-oiled Chiefs side a week ago, but were beaten 50-35 at home and they have now conceded more than 30 points in every match this season.
Head-to-Head
The Crusaders have claimed victory in all 4 of these teams’ meetings with the first back in 2022. The last time they clashed was in 2024 where the Crusaders put in a solid performance to win 43-10 at home.
Betting and Verdict
The Crusaders trade at 1.08 as heavy favourites, while Moana Pasifika are at 10.00 and the draw 56.00.
Handicap: Crusader [-20.5]
Moana Pasifika concede plenty of points but they are a strong attacking force and I am looking for 65 points or more in the game.
BET: Over 64.5 points at 1.91
REDS vs WESTERN FORCE – Click here to bet
The Reds will be satisfied with their season so far due to winning 4 and losing 1 of their 5 games. They are in 3rd with a points difference of +26.
They picked up a valuable away win against the Highlanders in round 6 in a match that went down to the wire. When the final whistle sounded 6 points separated the sides.
The Western Force are positioned centrally on the table in 6th after winning 3 and losing 3 of their encounters. They are on 14 points just 1 point behind the Brumbies in 5th.
They did not play last weekend but before that in round 5 they went head-to-head with the Crusaders and although they ran in 33 points, they could not restrict the Crusaders on opposition soil and lost 55-33.
Head-to-Head
The Reds have dominated the head-to-head form over the last few years, winning 4 of their 5 meetings since 2023. The last match held was in the beginning of March and resulted in a 28-24 win for the Reds on the road after a nail-biting 80 minutes.
Betting and Verdict
The Reds are at 1.25 with Western Force at 4.75 and the draw priced at 36.00.
Handicap: Reds [-11.5]
The Reds only conceded 15 points to the Waratahs in Brisbane and with rain expected I think they can keep the Force below 23 points.
BET: Force under 22.5 points at 1.90
