Crusaders vs Chiefs
The Crusaders have had an excellent season and currently sit second on the table after 10 matches, with 8 wins and 2 losses. They are level on log points with the Chiefs, with only points difference separating the two sides. The Crusaders were on a bye in Round 12, but before that they dominated the Highlanders with a 43–10 away win.
The Chiefs have also had a strong campaign, winning 8 of their 11 matches, giving them a points difference of +120, the best in the competition. However, they suffered a setback in Round 12, going down 35–17 to the Hurricanes in Wellington, in a match where they struggled to get into the contest.
Head-to-Head
The Chiefs hold a slight edge in recent meetings, winning 3 of the last 5 encounters against the Crusaders. The most recent clash was in February, where the Chiefs won convincingly 49–24 at home.

Handicap: Crusaders [-2.5]
Suggested Bet:
Take the Crusaders at 1.75, with the home-ground advantage and fresh legs following the bye. The handicap of -2.5 looks fair in what should be a close contest.

Western Force vs Brumbies
The Western Force have struggled to find consistency in 2025, currently sitting 8th on the table. After 11 matches, they’ve recorded 4 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw. In Round 12, they were outplayed by a clinical Blues outfit, falling 40–19 in Auckland. Creativity and defensive cohesion remain key concerns for the Perth-based side.
The Brumbies, by contrast, have been relatively consistent throughout the season. With 7 wins from 11 matches, they sit 3rd on the log, six points clear of the 4th-placed Reds. In their last outing, the Brumbies delivered a commanding performance at home, defeating the Waratahs 40–17 in a match they controlled from start to finish.
Head-to-Head
Recent clashes between these two sides have been competitive. In their last 5 meetings, the Brumbies have won 3, while the Force have taken 2. Their most recent matchup was in February, where the Force pulled off a thrilling 45–42 away victory.
Betting & Verdict

Match Odds:

Western Force: 2.70

Handicap: Western Force [+4.5]
Suggested Bet:
The Brumbies are the more consistent side and have momentum on their side. Brumbies to win at 1.60 is a solid option, while those seeking more value could consider the Brumbies -4.5 on the handicap.
My bet though is on over 57.5 points at 1.90. There were 87 points when these sides met in Canberra in February and in perfect conditions I am expecting tries to flow.
