We take a look at the four Super Rugby Pacific matches taking place on Saturday and suggest a bet in each game.
Let’s start with a quick update on the Outright Betting where heading into this weekend the Blues are trading as 16/10 favourites ahead of the Chiefs at 19/10, you can get 5/2 the Hurricanes and 9/1 and better the balance.

MOANA PASIFIKA v WARATAHS – Click here to bet
Moana Pasifika currently sit 11th on the table with only the Waratahs below them on the log. They lost their last four matches in succession, but did push the Hurricanes hard last week, losing 32-24 on the road.
The Waratahs have also lost 4 in a row and they went down 27-7 to the Force last week, a game where bookmakers had initially made them favourites.
Head-to-Head
Moana Pasifika beat the Waratahs 33-24 earlier in the season and last season Waratahs beat them 26-20
Handicap: Moana Pasifika -2.5
I can’t back either of these sides with much confidence and I think we are going to be in for a close game and will bet that neither team win by 7 or more.
Suggested Bet: Tri Bet, Any Other Result (either team must win by 6 points or less or the match must be drawn) at 17/10

CRUSADERS v BLUES – Click here to bet
The Crusaders are 10th on the log with just 2 wins in their 12 matches this season. They have nothing more than a mathematical chance of making the last 8. The Crusaders have lost their last 3 games in a row, including going down 31-24 to the Brumbies on the road last week and the Crusaders last home game was a 5 point defeat to the Reds and against New Zealand opposition they have beaten the Chiefs and lost to the Hurricanes in Christchurch.
The Blues are now top of the table and have won 9 matches in a row and only lost 1 all season. They were too strong for the Highlanders at home last week, winning 47-13, but in their only game against New Zealand opposition on the road they lost 29-21 to the Hurricanes earlier in the season.
Handicap: Crusaders +5.5
The Blues beat the Crusaders 26-6 at home earlier in the season to break a run of 4 successive defeats to the defending Champions and although the Crusaders will be desperate, my money is on the Blues to win well as they look to cement their spot at the top of the log.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Blues -5.5 at 9/10
REDS v WESTERN FORCE – Click here to bet
The Reds are currently 5th on the log, but coming off a disappointing 28-19 defeat away to the Fijian Drua last week. Their last home game was a 4 point win over the Rebels and they have won 3 and lost 2 at home this season.
The Force are 9th on the log and still very much in playoff contention. They beat the Waratahs 27-7 at home last week and hammered the Drua 48-10 also at home the week before. Their problem has been their form on the road and they have yet to win a game and last time out took a pounding 56-7 away to the Chiefs.
The Force beat the Reds 40-31 in Perth earlier this season, but the last time they met in Brisbane it was the Reds that came out on top 31-17 in 2023.
Handicap: Reds -13.5
There isn’t much in the Force’s away form to inspire confidence, but they did push the Brumbies to within 3 points in Canberra earlier in the season and with a playoff spot to play for I am going to have a bet that we get an upset here.
Suggested Bet: The Force win at 5/1
HIGHLANDERS v FIJIAN DRUA – Click here to bet
The Highlanders are 7th on the log, 2 points ahead of the Fijian Drua who are 8th. They are coming off a disappointing 47-13 away loss to the Blues and that broke a run of 3 successive victories, including beating the Crusaders 32-29 at home.
The Fijian Drua are coming off an impressive 28-19 home win over the Reds, but their problems this season have been on the road where they have lost all 4 matches and their best performance was a 28-20 loss to the Brumbies in Canberra.
Handicap: Highlanders -8.5
The Highlanders have won both previous meetings against the Drua and I am expecting them to win this fairly comfortably given how poor the Drua travel.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Highlanders -8.5 at 19/20
