There are two Super Rugby Pacific games taking place on Friday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.
Let’s start with a look at the latest Outright Winner Betting where the Blues and the Chiefs are disputing favouritism at 15/8, table toppers the Hurricanes are 9/4 and you can get 10/1 and better the balance.

Hurricanes v Waratahs – Click here to bet
The Hurricanes are top of the table, but they tasted defeat for the first time last week when they lost 27-19 away to the Brumbies. Their last home game was a 36-23 win over the Chiefs and they have also beaten the Rebels and the Blues at home this season.
The Waratahs are currently 11th on the log with 2 wins and 7 defeats in their 9 matches. They found the Chiefs too strong for them last time out losing 38-22 at home and they have not won in 3 matches on the road this season going down to the Brumbies, the Drua and the Reds.
Head-to-Head
The Hurricanes won this fixture 34-17 last season and the season before that they edged the Waratahs in Sydney 22-18.
There has been plenty of money for the Hurricanes this week and the current handicap sits at Hurricanes -20.5. The total points line of 60.5 looks well set and I am going to go for a play that we get a total points range of 56-62 points inclusive.
Suggested Bet: Point Range 56-62 at 7/2

Rebels v Blues – Click here to bet
The Rebels are currently 5th on the log with 5 victories and 4 defeats in their 9 matches. They were away to the Crusaders last week, but failed to score a point and went down 39-0. They have won 3 out of 5 home matches this season and their last 2 home games they beat the Highlanders 47-31 and the Drua 41-20.
The Blues are currently 2nd on the log with 8 victories and 1 defeat and they have won their last 6 games in a row. Last time out they were away to the Reds where they won 41-34 and their only defeat on the road this season came away at the Hurricanes where they lost 29-21.
Head-to-Head
The Blues beat the Rebels 54-17 in Melbourne last year and in 2022 they had a 71-28 victory in Auckland.
Handicap: Rebels +14.5
The Rebels have played some good rugby at home this season and this is a match where I expect the points to flow.
Suggested Bet: Over 59.5 points at 9/10.
