HIGHLANDERS vs BRUMBIES – click here to bet
The Highlanders currently sit in 6th place on the Super Rugby table with 9 points to their name after picking up 2 wins in round 1 and 3 respectively and losing 1 of their matches to the Blues in round 2.
They took on the Waratahs in their most recent encounter in a very tight game and when the final whistle blew the sides were separated by just 2 points, with the Highlanders winning 23-21.
The Brumbies have had a similar start to the season as the Highlanders and they sit just 1 place behind them in 7th place on the log after winning 2 of their matches and losing 1. They currently have the same number of points as the Highlanders with the only thing separating them being points difference.
Their match last weekend saw them take on the Western Force in what was a close encounter. The game ended with the Brumbies winning the match by 3 points with the final score being 22-19.
Handicap: Highlanders +0.5
Suggested Bet: Highlanders over 26.5 at 1.80
They have been putting a good number of points on the board in each game so far and under the roof in Dunedin I am backing them to reach 27 points.
CHIEFS vs FIJIAN DRUA – click here to bet
The Chiefs have had a solid start to this year’s campaign and they sit 2nd on the log with 10 points built up after picking up 2 wins and a single loss.
They took on the Reds last week in the closing game for the weekend and the Chiefs (-8.5 with the bookies) did not perform to their standards, and they were unable to take control of the game that they lost 25-19 in the end.
The Fijian Drua side haven’t had a great start to the season so far and they have won only 1 of their 3 matches so far, however their win was a decent one as it was against the Crusaders last week.
They came back from being 10 points down early to not conceding another point winning 20-10 and sending the home crowd home with plenty to celebrate.
Handicap: Chiefs -21.5
Suggested Bet: Chiefs handicap -21.5 at 19/20
I think the Chiefs will put up a dominant performance this weekend winning the game without too much trouble.

WARATAHS vs BLUES – click here to bet
The Waratahs have had a tough start to the Super Rugby this year, losing 2 and winning just 1 of their matches to sit on 5 points.
Their last game was a heartbreaking loss against Highlanders where they fell just 2 points short, missing a very kickable penalty in the final minute that would have won them the match. They will be looking to get their season back on trackbut as the underdogs here it will take something special to beat the Blues.
The Blues have had a solid start to the competition this year and they have won 2 of their 3 matches, resulting in them sitting on 9 points and in 5th place.
Their last game was against the Hurricanes who are currently in first place on the log. The Blues were always chasing the game and they lost 29-21.
Handicap: Waratahs +8.5
Suggested Bet: First Try Scorer – Mark Telea at 9.50
I think the handicap is about right and will go for a speculative first try scorer play and will look to get involved in the live betting when I get a better feel for the match.
