We take a look at the two Super Rugby Pacific matches taking place on Friday and suggest a bet in each game.
Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting where the Chiefs have drifted, but remain favourites at 21/10, the Blues are 9/4, the Hurricanes now into 5/2 from 7/2 and you can get 15/2 the Crusaders and 10/1 and better the balance.

Fijian Drua v Hurricanes – Click here to bet
The Drua are currently 7th on the log with 3 victories and 4 defeats. They were beaten by the Rebels last week despite going out into an early lead and lost 41-20 in Melbourne. Their home form has been excellent this season and they have won all 3 matches, beating the Crusaders by 10, the Waratahs by 3 (in Golden Time) and the Force by 18 points.
The Hurricanes are top of the table with a 100% record after 7 matches. Last week they played the Chiefs at home, a game where they started narrow underdogs, but got up for the win 36-23 in an exciting match. They have won all 3 of their away matches, beating the Force by 30, the Crusaders by 4 and the Highlanders by 35 points respectively.
Head-to-Head
These sides have met twice with the Drua winning this fixture 27-24 last season and the Hurricanes winning 67-5 at home in 2022
Handicap: Fijian Drua +11.5
The Drua are a very different side at home and I think they can push the Hurricanes all the way here and I am going to back the home team on the handicap.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Fijian Drua +11.5 at 9/10

Reds v Highlanders – Click here to bet
The Reds are currently 6th on the log with 3 victories and 4 losses in their 7 matches. They have lost their last 3 games in a row including going down 17-14 to Moana Pasifika in New Zealand last week. At home this season they have beaten the Waratahs by 18, the Chiefs by 6 and lost to the Brumbies by a point.
The Highlanders are 10th on the log with 2 wins and 5 defeats in their 7 matches. They are coming off a bye week and their most recent action was away to the Rebels where they lost 47-31, their 4th successive defeat. On the road this season they edged the Waratahs by 2, lost to the Chiefs by 7 and the Rebels by 16.
Head-to-Head
The Highlanders won this fixture by 5 points at home this season and they beat the Reds by 8 points last time they met in Brisbane.
Handicap: Reds -6.5
I don’t think there is going to be a lot in this game and I am going to go for the Reds to edge a tight one, by 1-7 points inclusive.
Suggested Bet: Winning Margin, Reds by 1-7 points at 16/5
