The 2025 Super Rugby Pacific Final is set for Saturday, 21 June at Apollo Projects Stadium in Christchurch. Two well-deserving sides — the Crusaders and the Chiefs — will battle it out for the ultimate prize, and we’ll take a look at the matchup from a betting perspective.

The Crusaders enjoyed a strong group-stage campaign, winning 11 of their 14 matches and picking up 5 bonus points to finish second on the overall standings. In the qualifying finals, they brushed aside the Reds with a convincing 32–12 victory at home. They followed that up with a disciplined semi-final performance, holding off a spirited Blues side to win 21–14 in front of their home crowd.
The Chiefs were equally impressive during the regular season, matching the Crusaders with 11 wins and 3 losses but finishing 2 points ahead thanks to 7 bonus points and a commanding +231 points difference. Their playoff run began with a dramatic 20–19 defeat to the Blues, who scored a late converted try to snatch the win in Hamilton. Despite the loss, the Chiefs advanced as the highest-ranked losing team. They made the most of that second chance, overpowering the Brumbies 37–17 in a dominant semi-final performance but due to their qualifying finals loss to the Blues they will have to travel to Christchurch rather than meet their opponents in Hamilton.
Head-to-Head:
The Chiefs have had the upper hand in recent meetings, winning 3 of the last 5 clashes between the sides. That includes both of their encounters in 2025: a 49–24 home win in February and a 35–19 away win in May — giving them a much needed edge heading into the final against an opponent that has a 31-0 home playoff record in Super Rugby.

Tribet
This market combines margin and result into three grouped outcomes. You’re betting on either team winning by 7 or more points, or on any other result (which includes a narrow win by either side or a draw). It’s a great option if you expect a close game but want to cover both teams, or if you strongly back a convincing win.
- Any Other Result – 2.50
(Covers either team winning by 1–6 points or a draw) - Chiefs by 7 or more points – 2.80
(Covers the Chiefs winning by 7 points or more) - Crusaders by 7 or more points – 2.90
(Covers the Crusaders winning by 7 points or more)
This should be a really close game and I think the Tribet option above is a value play that is likely to be in the running until the very end.
Bet: Tribet “any other result” at 2.50
