There are 4 Super Rugby matches taking pace this weekend and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.
The Chiefs are still the firm favourites at 7/4 to win the Super Rugby title with the Crusaders now 9/4 second favourites. The Blues are out to 11/4, you can get 6/1 the Hurricanes, 10/1 the Brumbies and 40/1 and better the balance.

FRIDAY
Moana Pasifika v Reds – Click here to bet
Moana Pasifika are sitting bottom of the table without a victory, but this will be the first game they have played in front of their home crowd in Samoa.
They were big underdogs away to the Crusaders last week and although they ended up losing by 17 points they certainly gave the Crusaders plenty to think about in Christchurch.
The Reds were badly beaten 24-52 by the Brumbies at home last week and they now sit 8th on the table with just 2 wins in 7 starts after what had been a promising start.
Handicap: Moana Pasifika +2.5
The Reds opened up 7 point favourites, but money has come for Moana Pasifika and it would not surprise me were the home team to start favourites come kick off. I think the money is spot on and I am going for Moana Pasifika to make a fast start and to lead at the break.
Suggested Bet: First-Half Winner Moana Pasifika at 12/10
Brumbies v Fijian Drua – Click here to bet
The Brumbies are currently 3rd on the log with 6 wins and 1 defeat in their opening 7 games. As mentioned above they were too strong for the Reds in Brisbane last time out and their last home game was a come from behind 40-36 win over the Waratahs.
The Fijian Drua currently sit 7th on the table with 3 wins and 3 losses in their opening 6 games and they should be fresh after a week off. Their last action was at home in front of their passionate crowd when they beat the Rebels 38-28 and prior to that they were beaten 57-24 by the Highlanders in New Zealand.
Handicap: Brumbies -18.5
I am expecting the Brumbies to be too strong here although I am not as confident on the 80 minute handicap, I do think though they will start strongly and am looking at the first-half handicap on the home team.
Suggested Bet: First-Half Handicap, Brumbies -8.5 at 10/11

SATURDAY
Hurricanes v Chiefs – Click here to bet
The Hurricanes are currently top of the table with 6 wins and 1 loss in their opening 7 games. They are level on points with Chiefs who have played a game less and have a 100% record, but who were not in action last week. The Hurricanes were and they beat the Highlanders 29-14 on the road and their last home game saw them beat the Force 45-42 letting the Australian visitors right back into the match after a strong start.
The Chiefs last action was a hard fought 20-13 win over the Blues.
Handicap: Hurricanes +0.5
I must say I am a bit surprised that the Chiefs are not bigger favourites with this one and I am happy to back them on the board to retain their 100% record.
Suggested Bet: Chiefs win at 17/20
Waratahs v Western Force – Click here to bet
The Waratahs are currently sitting 11th on the table with just 1 win in their opening 6 games. The Force sit just 1 point and 1 position above them with 2 wins and 4 losses in their opening 6 matches.
Both teams are coming off a bye and the week before that the Waratahs turned in one of their better performances going down by 4 points on the road to the Brumbies in a high scoring encounter. The Force also impressed with a narrow 3 point loss away at the Hurricanes.
Handicap: Waratahs -8.5
I have got the feeling that the Waratahs were starting to find form in their last match against the Brumbies and I think they are going to be too strong for this Force outfit.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Waratahs -8.5 at 9/10
