Round 7 of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season features five matches across Friday and Saturday. We take a look at each fixture from a betting angle and make a few suggested bets.
FRIDAY
Moana Pasifika v Highlanders – Click here to bet
Moana Pasifika have been the worst side in the competition this season, losing all five of their matches and being beaten by large margins throughout. Last weekend they lost 21–50 to the Crusaders at home.
The Highlanders are also out of form, having been hammered 7–50 by the Hurricanes at home last weekend and losing 18–29 away to the Crusaders the week before. Their only win in their last five matches was a 39–31 home win over the Western Force.
Head-to-Head
The Highlanders have a strong record at Moana Pasifika’s ground, winning the last meeting 31–29 in February 2025, and 28–17 in May 2024.
The handicap is set at Highlanders [−14.5] at 1.91. Even in poor form, the Highlanders should beat the worst team in the competition comfortably, Moana have not stayed within 15 points of any side this year.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Highlanders [−14.5] at 1.91.
Brumbies v Waratahs – Click here to bet
The Brumbies have won three of their last five matches. In rounds 2 and 3 they secured impressive wins over the Crusaders away 24–50 and the Blues at home 30–27. They then lost back-to-back matches against the Reds and Fijian Drua before bouncing back last weekend with a 33–24 home win over the Chiefs.
The Waratahs are in poor form, losing their last three games, most recently a 20–35 home loss to the Blues, a 17–26 away loss to the Reds, and a 19–59 home hammering by the Hurricanes.
Head-to-Head
The Brumbies have beaten the Waratahs by 23 and 24 points in their last two home meetings at GIO Stadium,40–17 and 40–16.
The handicap is Brumbies [−11.5] at 1.95. The Waratahs have not kept it close on the road this season and I don’t think that will change.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Brumbies [−11.5] at 1.95.
SATURDAY
Hurricanes v Reds – Click here to bet
The Hurricanes are the form side of the competition. Last weekend they travelled to Dunedin and hammered the Highlanders 50–7, having put 59 points past the Waratahs in Sydney two weeks before. They also won 31–23 at home against the Western Force and 52–10 at home against Moana Pasifika. Their only loss came away in Lautoka against the Fijian Drua.
The Reds are also in excellent form, winning four of their last five, including a 21–6 win over the Fijian Drua away last weekend and a memorable 34–31 away win at the Brumbies.
Head-to-Head
The Hurricanes have won all five of their most recent meetings with the Reds, including a 31–27 away win in Brisbane in May 2025 and a 38–33 home win in March 2024.
The handicap is Hurricanes [−15.5] at 1.93.
The Hurricanes have been scoring 50-plus in back-to-back matches and at home in Wellington they look capable of winning by a big margin.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Hurricanes [−15.5] at 1.93.

Blues v Fijian Drua – Click here to bet
The Blues have won four of their last five games, including a 35–20 away win over the Waratahs last weekend, a 43–7 home win over Moana Pasifika and a 29–13 home win over the Crusaders. Their only loss came away in Canberra, going down 27–30 to the Brumbies.
The Fijian Drua are dangerous at home and they beat the Brumbies 42–27 and the Hurricanes 25–20 there, but away from home they have been poor, losing 13–36 to the Waratahs and 6–21 to the Reds.
Head-to-Head
The Blues have beaten the Drua by 31 points and 24 points in their last two home meetings at Eden Park, 36–5 in June 2024 and 34–10 in February 2024.
The handicap is Blues [−20.5] at 1.87.
The Drua away from home are a very different side and the Blues are in devastating form. I can see this going only 1 way.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Blues [−20.5] at 1.87.
Western Force v Chiefs – Click here to bet
The Western Force have lost both of their home matches this season, going down 32–42 to the Blues and 24–56 to the Brumbies. Their only win in their last five came in an away game against Moana Pasifika 35–19.
The Chiefs have been in good form, beating the Highlanders 26–23 and the Blues 19–15 away this season. Their two losses came at home against the Crusaders 33–43 and away against the Brumbies 24–33, last weekend.
Head-to-Head
The Chiefs have dominated this fixture in recent years, winning 43–19 at the Force’s home ground in June 2023 and 20–19 there in 2021.
The handicap is Chiefs [−14.5] at 1.91.
With the Force’s home defence this poor and the Chiefs used to winning in Perth, a margin of more than 15 points is well within reach for the visitors.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Chiefs [−14.5] at 1.91.
