FRIDAY
Blues v Waratahs – Click here to bet
The Blues finished 3rd on the log with 10 wins and 4 defeats in their 14 matches. They beat the Highlanders at home in a low scoring encounter last week getting up 16-9 and the week before that had beaten the Hurricanes 36-25 in Auckland.
The Waratahs finished 6th on the log with 6 wins and 8 defeats in their 14 matches. They started 15 point favourites at home to Moana Pasifika last week, but lost by 9 points and the week before that they were beaten 42-18 away at the Crusaders.
The Blues hosted the Waratahs back in Week 9 winning 55-21.
Handicap: Blues -17.5
The handicap is big, but I don’t think it is big enough and I think that the Blues are going to get on top of the Waratahs and will win this one easily.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Blues -17.5 at 19/20
SATURDAY
Chiefs v Reds – Click here to bet
The Chiefs finished top of the table with just 1 defeat in 14 matches. Last week they rested some of their bigger players, but were still far too strong for the Force in Perth winning 43-19. The week before that they had beaten the Brumbies 31-21 in Canberra.
The Reds scraped into the playoffs finishing 8th on the log after a disappointing final weekend where they went down 41-17 away at the Fijian Drua. The week before that they had a heart breaking loss away at the Highlanders losing to a last minute try, but they are the only team to have beaten the Chiefs this season, winning 25-22 on the road in Week 12.
Handicap: Chiefs -19.5
I am expecting absolutely no mercy from the Chiefs against a Reds side that looked short of ideas and motivation last week
Suggested Bet: Chiefs -19.5 at 19/20

Crusaders v Fijian Drua – Click here to bet
The Crusaders finished runners up to the Chiefs with 10 wins and 4 losses in their 14 matches. Last week they were away at the Hurricanes where they went down 27-26 in a thrilling match, but the result had no bearing on their log standings. The week before that they had beaten the Waratahs 42-18 at home.
The Fijian Drua finished 7th on the log with 6 wins and 8 defeats and last week they turned in probably their performance of the season beating the Reds 41-17 at home. They have really battled on the road this season and at home was where their top results came including a 25-24 upset win over the Crusaders in Week 3.
Handicap: Crusaders -22.5
We have another monster handicap to contend with, but at the risk of sounding like a stuck record I think it is going to be another comfortable win for the home team
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Crusaders -22.5 at 19/20
Brumbies v Hurricanes – Click here to bet
The Brumbies finished 4th on the log on 46 points, 5 points ahead of 5th placed Hurricanes. Last week the Brumbies were too strong for the Rebels at home winning 33-17 despite resting a number of their top players. The week before that they had gone down by 10 points to the Chiefs at home.
The Hurricanes beat the Crusaders 27-26 in Wellington last week and that was on the back of an 11 point defeat to the Blues in Auckland.
The Hurricanes hosted the Brumbies in Week 10 of Super Rugby winning 32-27.
Handicap: Brumbies +0.5
The Brumbies have been the stand out Australian team and this should be a real battle as the betting suggests. My money is on the home team to pull out a win.
Suggested Bet: Brumbies win at 23/20
