SATURDAY
IRELAND v WALES – Click here to bet
Ireland is currently topping the Six Nations log, after winning both of the 2 matches they have played this far while picking up 10 points. They picked up a dominant 36-0 win over Italy in their most recent game and comfortably beat France away in their opener.
Wales are sitting in 5th on the Six Nations table, and they have lost both of their matches so far, with their only ranking points coming from losing bonus points. Their most recent match saw them take on England away from home at Twickenham Stadium in what was a tight encounter with the final whistle-blowing at 16-14 points to England. In their opening match they came from well behind to lose 26-27 to Scotland at home.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
In last years fixture Ireland picked up a 34-10 bonus-point win over the Welsh.
Suggested Bet: Point Range 42-48 points at 15/4
The handicap looks well set and I have a feeling this will be a slightly lower scoring game than the bookies predict.

SCOTLAND v ENGLAND – Click here to bet
Scotland have had a decent start to this year’s campaign, winning 1 and losing 1 of their matches and they currently sit in 3rd on the log after picking up 5 points overall. Their most recent match ended in a 4-point loss to the French in an action-packed match in Scotland after a last minute TMO decision stopped (some would say robbed) Scotland from taking the win.
England are second on the Six Nations log after winning both of their opening matches in the competition. Their win against Wales at home was a tense one and they just managed to clinch the 2-point victory in the end, bringing their table points up to 8, sitting just 2 points behind leaders Ireland.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides met last year in England where Scotland managed to take a 6-point win over the English with the match ending 29-23 to Scotland.
Suggested Bet: Scotland over 23.5 at 8/10
I believe Scotland will put up a dominant performance this weekend but rather than take the handicap I will back them to score more than 24 points.
SUNDAY
FRANCE v ITALY – Click here to bet
France have had a slow start to the Six Nations, and after losing their opening match to Ireland at home, they managed to come back and pick up a narrow 20-16 win over Scotland away. They currently sit in 4th on the log with just 4 points and they will be looking for a big win in this fixture.
Italy have not had a great start to the tournament and they have lost both of their opening matches, leaving them with just 1 point on the overall standings and with a lot of work to do to avoid the wooden spoon. I expect that the side put in hard work this week after their grueling 36-0 defeat against Ireland last time out and they will be determined to score a few tries this weekend even if a victory is unlikely.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Last year’s fixture saw the Italians push the 2022 reigning grand slam champions, the French, right to the end in a close encounter that ended 24-29 at Stadio Olimpico after a late try from the French side.
Suggested Bet: France total over 40.5 points at 1.90
I believe France will find their feet in this match and cross the try line many times and I prefer overs points to the handicap as Italy may well score a few themselves
