In what will probably be the most exciting match of this weekend’s fixtures, the two top tier sides will battle it at Murrayfield.
Scotland hosted Portugal last weekend winning the match 59-21. They faced off against South Africa the week before and put in a valiant effort but came up short losing the match 15-32.
Australia dominated against Wales last weekend winning the match 20-52 and they pulled off a stunning last-minute victory against England the week before winning that match 37-42.
Head-to-Head
The two sides have played each other five times since 2016 with Scotland winning three of the five matches. The most recent fixture was played in 2022 where Scotland hosted Australia but ended up losing the match 15-16.
Betting and Verdict
Scotland are favorites to win the match and are trading at 1.60 while Australia are trading at 2.65 and the draw 26.00.
Scotland have had the luxury of managing players over the last 3 weeks and with their home crowd behind them I think they beat the handicap.
Handicap: Scotland [-4.5]
BET: Handicap, Scotland [-4.5] at 1.95.

England v Japan – Click here to bet
England have now lost their last five matches in a row, however, it must be taken into consideration that in these five matches they played South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand three times and managed to lose by at most 9 points.
Last week they were beaten 20-29 by South Africa.
Japan played against Uruguay last weekend and won the match 36-20. They had a tougher match the week before playing against France and losing 52-12 and Eddie Jone will be desperate for a good performance against his old team.
Head-to-Head
England have won their last five matches against Japan and their last win came against Japan earlier this year where they won 17-52.
Betting and Verdict
England are favorites to win the match and are trading at 1.01 while the bookies have Japan at 26.00 and the draw at 101.00.
Although England have lost their last five matches, if you take into consideration the opponents they faced and the losing margins, one could argue that they’ve actually played some very good rugby.
I can see this weekend being the weekend where England finally gets to showcase what they have to offer and dominating Japan at home.
Handicap: England [-34.5]
BET: Handicap, England [-34.5] at 1.90.
