The Champions Cup Rugby group stages conclude on Sunday and we take a look at the 3 games from a betting angle.
Leinster remain favourites at 2/1 to win the Champions Cup ahead of Toulouse 3/1 and La Rochelle at 6/1. You can get 7/1 and better the balance and from a South African point of view the Blue Bulls are 12/1 and the Stormers 22/1.

SALE v LA ROCHELLE – Click here to bet
With the Top 4 teams in each pool qualifying for the Round of 16 this is effectively a “Winner take all Match”. La Rochelle currently sit 4th on the table 2 points ahead of Sale in 5th.
La Rochelle come into this game on the back of a 40-5 home win over Leicester last weekend while Sale were away to the Stormers and went down 31-24 in Cape Town.
Sale are a team capable of punching well above their weight, but I don’t think they are going to be able to live with this quality La Rochelle outfit.
Handicap: Sale +9.5
Suggested Bet: Handicap, La Rochelle -9.5 at 9/10

TOULOUSE v BATH – Click here to bet
Toulouse currently top Pool 2 with a 100% record after their opening 3 matches. They welcome a Bath side that sits 2nd on the table and trails them only on goal difference with one of these sides certain to top the log.
Toulouse put in an impressive performance last week beating Ulster 48-24 on the road and Bath pulled off a brilliant come-from-behind win, 29-25 against Racing 92 at home.
A big handicap has been set for this game and Bath will more than likely rest a few players as even at full strength they are unlikely to beat the Toulouse side at home. Toulouse have already shown they can rack up big victories and I am going to go for the home team on the handicap here.
Handicap: Toulouse -17.5
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Toulouse -17.5 at 9/10
BAYONNE v EXETER – Click here to bet
This is a Pool 3 clash and sees 5th place Bayonne taking on 2nd place Exeter.
Bayonne still have an outside chance of qualifying for the Round of 16 depending on what happens in the games above them. They had an impressive draw with Munster away in Week 1, but have struggled to hold that form and were hammered 61-14 away at the Northampton Saints last week.
Exeter are 1 point behind leaders, Northampton and 5 points clear of 3rd place Munster so 2nd place looks virtually guaranteed. They were at home to Glasgow Warriors last week and beat them 19-17 in a dramatic finish. Team news to be crucial in this game and it remains to be seen whether Bayonne will field a full strength side or forego the Champions Cup to focus on the Top 14.
At the end of the day I am going to side with an Exeter team that has played some very consistently good ruby in this Champions Cup.
Handicap: Bayonne +5.5
Suggested Bet: Exeter -5.5 at 19/20
