Cheetahs v Blue Bulls – Click here to bet
The Cheetahs travelled to Welkom last week where they played against the Griffons. They had a convincing lead early in the first half and it looked as if they were going to run away with the game however, the Griffons managed to bring the game back with the final score ending 45-47 in favour of the Cheetahs.
The Bulls had yet another solid performance last weekend when they played Western Province and were able to win the match 50-34 after being well down at one point. They are now the only side with a 100% record.
Head-to-Head
The last encounter between the two sides was in the 3rd round in Pretoria. In what has been one of the lower scoring matches in this year’s Currie Cup, the Bulls came out on top winning the match 25-13.
Handicap: Bulls [-5.5]
With all of their momentum and a strong side it seems they are on track to put in yet another dominant performance this weekend.
BET: Handicap, Bulls [-5.5] at 1.85

SATURDAY
Pumas v Sharks– Click here to bet
The Pumas pulled off a much-needed win against the Griquas last weekend which should see them through to the semi-finals. The match ended 66-26 and the Pumas now sit top of Group B.
The Sharks finally managed to grab their first win of the season, travelling to Johannesburg to take on the Lions. The match ended 22-35, keeping the Sharks in the playoff race.
Head-to-Head
The Pumas pulled off a vital win against the Sharks in the third round, winning 21-31 down in Durban. Both teams will be desperate to win as the Sharks look to creep into a semi-final spot while the Pumas look to hold onto theirs.
Handicap: Sharks [-+8.5]
I was impressed with the Sharks last weekend and the introduction of some of the under 20 players may signal a turn in their season.
BET: Sharks to win at 3.80
Western Province v Griffons – Click here to bet
Western Province are coming off the back of a tough fixture, losing 50-34 to the Bulls in Pretoria while the Griffons are coming off the back of their best performance yet pulling the game back against the Cheetahs to end 45-47.
Province have only won one match so far this season and will be desperate to win if they want to stand a chance of progressing to the semi-finals.
Head-to-Head
The two sides met in the third round in Welkom where Western Province came out on top winning the match 15-64. However, the Griffons will be buzzing after last week’s performance and will look to cause an upset come this weekend.
Handicap: Griffons [+40.5]
The Griffons can take confidence from last weeks result and I am backing them to stay within the handicap.
BET: Handicap, Griffons [+40.5] at 1.85
SUNDAY
Griquas v Lions – Click here to bet
Both sides are coming off the back of losses with the Lions losing to the Sharks last weekend at home and the Griquas losing to the Pumas away from home.
This was the Lions first loss of the season so far and the Griquas heaviest defeat.
The Griquas will need a win this weekend to stand a chance at progressing through to the semi-finals but the Lions also cannot afford to slip up.
Head-to-Head
The third-round fixture between the two sides was played in Johannesburg with the Lions coming out on top 25-13. The Griquas have however won the last four out of five encounters between the two sides in the Currie Cup and will be hoping to do the same this weekend.
Handicap: Griquas [+8.5]
Griquas are always a tough nut to crack at home and I think they will push the Lions all the way.
BET: Handicap, Griquas [+8.5] at 1.85
