OUTRIGHT BETTING
South Africa are the 15/10 favourites to achieve what they haven’t done since 2015 and that is to win in front of their own fans. New Zealand have won 2 of the 5 Tournaments that have taken place since and they are now 28/10 second favourites with Fiji priced at 5/1, last week’s runners-up Argentina 11/2 and you can get 12/1 and better the balance.

This will be the 3rd renewal of the South African Women’s Series. New Zealand have beaten Australia in both finals to date, last year winning 31-14. It is Australia though who top the betting boards at 17/20 ahead of New Zealand at 12/10, France are 6/1 and you can get 25/1 and better the balance.
South Africa are rank outsiders to win their group at 17/1 and they are 100/1 to win the Tournament. They will be looking to build on some promising displays in Dubai last week including pushing New Zealand close.

Suggested Bet: The double, Australia and South Africa at 29/8
I was impressed by the Blitzboks last week and if they can maintain that freshness and handle the pressure playing in front of an expectant home crowd I think they can break their Cape Town drought.
Australia always have New Zealand to contend with, but I was super impressed with them in Dubai and I think they are worthy favourites to go in again

There will be betting both pre-match and in-running on each and every match in the sevens competition and based on the betting the tightest of the men’s first round fixtures will be Samoa v Australia where Samoa are trading at 8/10, Australia 5/4 and you can get 16/1 the draw.
New Zealand are 17.5 favourites over Canada and the Fiji / France game should be another cracker with Fiji currently priced at -10.5.
Argentina are 20 point favourites to beat Spain with Ireland -4.5 up against the USA.
South Africa are -21.5 against Great Britain in their opener while the local Women are +15.5 against France.
Suggested Bet: Samoa win at 8/10
I liked what I saw of Samoa last week and think they can get an early win at a stadium where they will have good memories from last year when they took the title.
